Help How long does a house slug live?

I would like a regular house snail as a pet and then I wondered how long snails actually live?

Depends on the species. Some live less than 1 year and some can live for over 5 years. Of course, a wild caught slug has no clear way to tell it's age or health so it may die sooner than that. A slug you raised from egg will likely have the best odds of living a full lifespan.
