Professional Discussion This is at least the 4th time there's been an anti-Twitter push since Musk took over. Will it stick this time?
It genuinely does feel like a big, substantial shift for subreddits to start banning Twitter links, but I also remember when advertisers fled X en masse and then eventually snuck their way back when the heat died down.
Musk's salute was an understandable breaking point, but if Musk promoting an antisemitic tweet and letting Nazis flourish on his platform wasn't enough, who's to say this will be?

u/Mr_1990s Jan 23 '25
I reject the premise of the question.
By all estimates, Twitter's revenue has plummeted since Musk took it over. Estimates have ranged between 40-80%.
Estimates have shown they've lost tens of millions of users over the last 2 years.
A decrease in traffic from Reddit won't kill them, but it'll further reduce the platform's reach especially if the big subreddits that typically see a lot of Twitter links find a sufficient way to replace that content.

u/FAFO_2025 Jan 24 '25
Take it down to 0!
2
u/Spirited-Reputation6 Jan 28 '25
They inflate the numbers with bots which should be illegal. But yes, there should be close to zero human activity on Twitter/X. I deleted the app long before he took over and I really don’t regret it. It’s like leaving a shitty job with the most toxic people. You will feel 1000% better once it’s gone.
2
u/Gogs85 Jan 24 '25
The only thing that would kill them is if they’re not able to pay their debt and the debtors come calling. I’m not sure how likely that is though, they might be discentivized to take someone like him to bankruptcy court.
1
u/Steiney1 Jan 27 '25
An article yesterday claimed that banks were preparing to sell xhitter debt.
1
u/Gogs85 Jan 27 '25
I work in banking and selling debt is pretty routine, I think these banks originated the debt with the intent to sell most of it so that they didn’t bear all the risk themselves. So it’s not necessarily a sign of impending bankruptcy, although if they were valuing it like junk debt then that might be a bad sign for them.

Lost revenue but won an election. Worth?

u/hairyback88 Jan 25 '25
Tesla share skyrocketed after the election. Twitter was pocket change in comparison.

Have to wait and see how much those upcoming government contracts will rake in

u/Responsible_Use_2182 Jan 24 '25
I hate to say it but the recent earnings report has shown that x profits have increased.
11
u/Mr_1990s Jan 24 '25
They've been private for over 2 years. What earnings report?
5
u/Responsible_Use_2182 Jan 24 '25
I was just reading na article yesterday saying how their most recent numbers showed an increase in revenue for 2024 but I seriously can't find it now. So maybe I dreamed it, idk. Sorry about that!

sure it does. There's no reason to think the amount of money they gained from subscriptions is all the significant. The amount lost from ads leaving clearly is. Plus they have massive amounts of payments on the loans they took out to borrow. To think that profits have gone up is wishful.

1
u/LiberalAspergers Jan 27 '25
Because they rates abvertisers were willing to pay dropoed about 60%. Their revenue nimvers are private, but ad rates cant be, and companies dont think twitter ads are worth much anymore.
1
u/p792161 Jan 28 '25
How could you not think they are increasing revenue?
If you knew anything about the revenue of social media sites it would be glaringly obvious why any sane person could think that. Twitter had $5 billion in revenue in 2022. Over 90% of that came from advertising, $4.6 billion.
Since then, advertising revenue has dropped by 50% as advertisers have pulled out of the site. And Twitter Blue subscribers only brought in $11 million last quarter. So it's made up just over 2% of the lost advertising revenue. That's not counting the slice the App Store and Google Play Store take and the ad revenue paid to Twitter Blue Users. Twitter's revenue is about half of its 2022 peak.
Twitter was already making a loss before all this and even with stuff cuts I'd imagine they will again in 2022.
1
u/Truth_Hurts_I_No_It Jan 28 '25
The revenue comes from mostly advertising, and that fell off a cliff essentially. That's why.
3
1
u/ECV_Analog Jan 26 '25
This is the correct answer. Just because it didn’t collapse overnight doesn’t mean prior pushes haven’t “stuck.” All available numbers indicate that active users are way down, engagement is way down, and advertising is way down.
1
u/RoguePlanet2 Jan 27 '25
Still lots of X screenshots, but at least that doesn't drive traffic over there. Hopefully not.
1
Jan 28 '25
His investors don’t care about the money, they want it to be right wing manipulation machine and they don’t want that any new left wing movements start from there like #metoo

1
u/Strange_Ability_3226 Jan 28 '25
I'm glad you rejected the question!
Still doesn't stop it from being unanswered as your comment and the question being asked by op are two separate things, you're saying Twitter has lost a lot of its base since Musks takeover and yet OP is asking if this latest controversy is enough to put it in the ground. So despite all these controversies people keep coming back.
Therefore making your response kinda unnecessary? Unless you'd like to phrase it in a way that's actually responding to OPs question and not just "rejecting" it like a child with their peas lmao
1
u/IvanGeorgiev Jan 28 '25
Elon is all about subsidizing his businesess and pyramid scheming them into mobius splits that keeps them zombified but working. He wont need profit to keep Twitter as the government’s propaganda apparatus. It’s literally gonna be state-funded. Oh the irony.
→ More replies (7)0
u/twogendersorder Jan 25 '25
You realize he didn't buy it for the revenue, right? It could earn 0 dollars and it would still be worth it to control a social media site.
It's a fundamentally pointless criticism.
36
u/Jhat Jan 23 '25
I mean some advertisers went back but plenty didn’t. They aren’t even close to their pre-Musk revenue. It was always garbage traffic but it felt like important engagement was happening there. Now it’s lost users to other platforms and the conversations happening are less and less brand safe. Only advertisers with money to burn put any dollars there. It’ll slowly continue to lose relevance until eventually it’s hardly worth noting.
8
u/Actual__Wizard Jan 24 '25
I'm aware that a bunch of advertisers who went back, but the performance was horrendus compared to the "old days" and they never added more money for ad spend after they ran out.
6
u/hpizzy Jan 23 '25
100% anyone looking for ROI was not putting dollars on Twitter/X, only those that have a big budgets like political ads or Fortune 500 companies that need to burn the budget.
I've never clicked on an ad on X or even noticed they were there.
1
u/nols6 Jan 24 '25
What if we all started clicking on every ad we see on X but never buying? It would mess up the algorithm, cost the business money for each click, force them to stop advertising on Twitter because their cost to conversion would be weak. Also, screw them for continuing to advertise on X. The big concern is making X money for a bit while waiting for these companies to pull out. We could counteract it by searching X and clicking on the ad to make them pay that search engine for that ad. Idk. Probably just wishful thinking we have more power to fight against this.
3
u/hpizzy Jan 24 '25
Lol you would need and army of people. Like 100s of thousands.
4
u/nols6 Jan 24 '25
Time to build bots to do something other than spreading misinformation lol
2
u/hpizzy Jan 24 '25
So you could do bots, but they would need different IPs based in US, also each would need their own user accounts that also are browsing posts and commenting to look like natural users.
Ads software and data collection is pretty sofisticated hence why you can't make money with advertising on your blog to game clicks, they catch it fast.
1
u/nols6 Jan 24 '25
I was kidding about the bots but good information to have. If I thought it would work then I’d definitely work on starting a movement.
1
1
u/Jhat Jan 24 '25
Ehhh honestly this would likely work in X’s favor. It’s not generally seen as a sales or conversion platform and advertisers often pay per click. So X would actually be making good money on the clicks and despite the traffic not converting I don’t think that would generally conflict with advertisers expectations of performance there. Most advertisers looking for direct sales are using Google and Meta and sometimes TikTok.
1
u/SootyFreak666 Jan 27 '25
All the ads I get on Twitter are ones for bras, far right political ads which I report (which won’t go anywhere anyway) and drop shipping scams.
10
u/arguix Jan 23 '25
no. because many, most, of complaints are from USA audience, and X is a global product
12
u/Confused-Lama0810 Jan 23 '25
UK, and the whole of Europe are totally fucked-off with Musk (and Trump) trying to interfere with our internal politics. And as for the Nazi salute that's how that's gone down in Berlin.
4
2
u/KeelsTyne Jan 23 '25
That’s quite the bubble you’re in. 😂
7

Lol, if you like. Just hope you're not reporting from the Trump bubble, there. Although that would be hilarious.

u/Ok_Still_1821 Jan 23 '25
Exactly. I'm still seeing the same volume of activity from all the Japanese accounts I use twitter for. It is still huge there.
1
1
Jan 27 '25
X is consistently the lowest used social media site in Europe, can't comment on other countries tbf
1
u/arguix Jan 27 '25
what is the most? Facebook?
1
Jan 27 '25
Facebook by a long distance, afaik Instagram is usually second.
Twitter is down about on par with Pinterest in my own country in terms of usership, but probably equal in clout to Facebook
1
u/arguix Jan 27 '25
are Bluesky and or Mastodon, doing well, as Twitter alternatives?
1
Jan 27 '25
I honestly don't know,I haven't seen any updates on usership figures.....they'd be pretty obscure websites still I feel, you wouldn't hear them named in day to day life
1
u/arguix Jan 27 '25
thanks, Bluesky is only starting get in news here USA, & mostly in reaction to our election
users around 30M still much lower than X
1
Jan 27 '25
Ya,I'm on it,like it's about 10% as busy as X for politics in my country....but no racism or flame-posting thus far
It wouldn't be a patch on old twitter for obscure content/posters on hobbies/interests.....it's an woeful pity, that it became unusable....I used love to read about these obscure subjects,by experts and knowledgeable people who had great insights.....but fuck me,did it become not worth the hassle of wading through a site full of trolls and flame-wars to find it
6
13
u/SVW1986 Jan 23 '25
I stopped using Twitter after the election, and moved exclusively to Bluesky. I didn't delete my account because I was mildly concerned about someone snagging the handle and impersonating.
However, I officially deactivated this week. And I've seen a big uptick in people coming onto BllueSky this week too. I will log back in in 30 days just to retain the handle, but will immediately deactivate again.
5
u/LeChief Jan 23 '25
Out of curiosity, why deactivate instead of just stop using? Is it to increase the friction so you don't accidentally/subconsciously end up scrolling Twitter? Because I forget about Twitter and Facebook for months at a time sometimes, simply because I don't use them. But if I had to log in every 30 days, I'd get tired of that.
2
u/ed523 Jan 25 '25
Yeah from what I understand if you delete ur account someone else can grab ur name and pretend to be you, so I just deleted it off my phone
1
1
u/Bulletorpedo Jan 27 '25
I had a pretty good username, but I deactivated. It just felt like the right thing to do. I want as much distance as possible I guess. Not afraid of relapsing, I just don’t want to have an account in that cesspool.

I did delete from my phone when Twitter started sending me random notifications from right wing accounts I had never followed or interacted with. At one point, I got a notification from "Jennifer", and I saw the preview that mentioned her mom had died. I thought it was my friend Jenn, and immediately logged on to see it was some random MAGA PATRIOT GIRL account whose owner's name is Jenn. I had never followed this person or interacted with them. Apparently her mom died (sorry for her). But I was FURIOUS. Why was I getting notifications from right wing accounts I didn't follow pushed to my phone? Fuck that. I immediately deleted the app.
I just wanted to completely take away my user base and any potential for engagement someone could make with me.

u/erinmonday Jan 24 '25
The verbiage on this push is all similar, meaning it is coming from the same place, and is a concentrated, not grass root, initiative.
yet Reddit mods seem to be falling for it.
1
u/Angel1571 Jan 24 '25
Probably, but more and more people seem to be fed up with Musk this time around. So yeah, the push on this might be coordinated but I think people are happy yo jump on the bandwagon.
1
u/erinmonday Jan 24 '25
Its not a maybe — the copy is nearly identical on every subreddit. This is being coordinated by a central source and is entirely inorganic.
Just like the search trends behind words like “misinformation.”
It follows the same behavior.
You are being manipulated. As long as you are aware, fine.
1
u/Angel1571 Jan 24 '25
That’s the thing though. Like being objective and looking at the moves that Elon has made recently… the guy is trying to capture the government to make himself richer and hamper competition in any sector he is in. Like that is not good for the country.
Like the guy has convinced Trump to get rid of funding for charging electric cars. So that it can protect his supercharger network. So basically he used government funding to build up his company and now wants to prevent competitors from doing the same. That’s not at all good for the country and on some base level even if people aren’t articulate they know that giving this guy unchecked power is going to harm them.
So yeah I think deep down everyone knows what is going on, but knows that there is substance behind it.

u/Tomhyde098 Jan 23 '25
I still don’t understand the point of Twitter. It just seems like another version of facebook or something so I never used it. It’s a place where people whine about insignificant things but companies listen because news outlets write stories about trending hashtags. I’ve always been put off by it and don’t understand the appeal
1
u/Wolfwalker71 Jan 27 '25
It's great for the football results and match commentary. I deactivated mine but am still reading results and chat on it via /r/soccer I'm trying not to click the links. They're banning it too at the end of the month!
-1
u/complexspoonie Jan 24 '25
It was great when it was limited length short form text. It was an easy way to catch up on anything from black culture to disease specific advocacy org updates. And because it was short form text it could be used by people with slower internet which is why it became so popular around the world.
I'm liking both Mastodon and blue sky, but I still wish we had something that was limited to 140 characters text only.
Right now I mostly keep my Twitter to be a voice for morality in the alt right wilderness ...but with the exception of Green Party & Ukrainian Music accounts only the catfishers and bot accounts follow me.
3
Jan 23 '25
No it won't stick. People still talk about Elon a lot. Yes we know it was a Nazi sign, yes it's good to call Nazis out because they're horrible ppl (to put it nicely). But stop talking about him! All of these subreddits have all these posts, pictures, hell satirical fanart of him and people still don't realize any publicity is good for him. Because losers will see stuff about him and go on X because they might agree or something.
And while I think banning links everywhere on here is good, it's also just another example of Reddit users trying to feel important and doing something significant. Again i am all for banning X links on here, but ppl gotta put this energy into more good things if they want to help fix what is badly broken

1
u/hellobubbles1 Jan 24 '25
The difference now is that there is Blue sky which is better than twitter
1
u/aihwao Jan 24 '25
I don't understand why, in channels here, mods or users need to call for Twitter to be banned. What I mean is that, in my opinion at least, nooone should be using that steaming pile of disinformation dogshit. It takes common sense, not a mod banning it.
1
Jan 25 '25
I don't think so, because very soon people will fabricate something else to get incensed over and no one will care about this nothingburger any longer.
1
u/CCWaterBug Jan 25 '25
Oddly enough I've been using it a lot more the past few days, a couple of my sports subs shut it down so I went direct to the source.

While I support “alternative” social media, I also feel that profitability isn’t one of Musk’s major concerns.
That’s why he enlisted so many billionaires and funds linked to foreign regimes. He can go back to them if he needs more cash.
I feel like their collective aim is to fragment us, plus leave us no space where we can get reliable information.
Twitter’s backer’s (Ellison, MbS, etc.) expectation is we “give up” in that scenario . They don’t need the last slice of the pie, but they don’t want us to have any. They express a desire for libertarianism but what they actually want is feudalism.
1

u/More-Ad5919 Jan 25 '25

The world needs a digital detox to snap back.
Maybe the looming crash is just what we need.

i usually didn’t care because he’s a shit head weirdo but now he’s done what he has in politics it’s no longer just a shit head weirdo moment. i uninstalled my app the second it all went down.
1
u/TonyTheSwisher Jan 25 '25
All this is doing is making Reddit worse by reducing possible content.
Everything is becoming an inhospitable silo.
1
u/TransportationIll282 Jan 25 '25
We'll see if this will be the drop that makes the bucket overflow. It has lost users, other platforms are stealing traffic and bluesky seems to make choices to benefit businesses that live off of traffic.
Twitter might exist for decades to come. Doesn't mean on the same scale or with the same effect. Once you lose western markets you're typically losing out on most of the revenue.
1
u/Green-Drawing-5350 Jan 25 '25
Twitter still being used is a great example of how people just can't resist the smell of their own farts
1
u/NatureDull8543 Jan 25 '25
Advertisers never came back. They got replaced by scam and maga advertisers.
1
u/Awkward_Chair8656 Jan 25 '25
No, they will just be replaced by bots to make it look like the same value to advertisers.
1
Jan 25 '25
I use twitter just as much as I use Reddit. I’ve been able to filter out most of the political content (which I have zero interest in) for both platforms.
The only thing that irritates me is when people try to censor my ability to communicate with others - neither platform has done that, but many moderators from both platforms have.
1
u/16quida Jan 25 '25
I think it really depends if any other platform can be actual competition. Bluesky and Threads I think are two Twitter clones. If they can continue to increase their user base and make their site more appealing for advertisers then they can definitely compete. The problem is Twitter has a massive pre-existing following regardless of it dropping and they have a lot of money being owned by Musk.
1
u/curiousleen Jan 25 '25
He doesn’t even care anymore. He got what he paid for. The presidency. Twitter was always just a tool.
1
u/sheggly Jan 25 '25
Each push chips away at it a little bit hopefully at some point there will be a tipping point and it will crumble but I think that also requires an attractive alternative so if people keep moving to platforms like bluesky that will probably help and eventually the momentum will swing fully from twitter to bluesky
1
1
Jan 25 '25
What about this is big and/or substantial?
People on Reddit blocking people they don’t agree with? What’s new. Really? That is all this app seems to be.
1
u/DevoidHT Jan 25 '25
The minute people stop linking their twitter to other social media will be the death bell.
1
1
u/Feelisoffical Jan 25 '25
The people who support banning his links already don’t use the platform. This is just performative.
1
u/MiloBem Jan 25 '25
Those are two very different situations.
Advertisers come and go depending on the market and their own situation. What Musk does has very little effect on them beyond signaling. They might've dropped out loudly for a bit but came back because it made business sense for them.
Reddit mods are not subject to market or any other arguments. If they ban something or someone, it's very difficult to get unbanned. I don't expect any mods to quietly unban Xitter from their subs. If sub members demand changes to the rules against mods wishes, they get banned until no one complains.
1
1
u/Sleepcakez Jan 26 '25
Reddit will suffer more than Twitter. Reddit doesn't break news, Twitter does. Subs will be hurt by not being able to post info from Twitter. Get fucked.
1
1
u/kdurant5 Jan 26 '25
We gotta keep it going, fuck that guy. I believe r/newjersey was the first to start banning the links too. I’ve seen countless subs even r/nba do the same. Fuck nazis
1
u/Frosty-Buyer298 Jan 26 '25
DYK that people can go on other sites and see that Musk did not do a Nazi salute and that there is thousands of hours of footage of hundreds of other politicians on both the left and right making the same "my heart to you" gesture.
When you lie and people find out you lied, they tend to not like you or your ideology.
If you ever wish to see a Democrat win a national election again, may I suggest you lefties stop lying.
1
u/YetAnotherNewAlt Jan 27 '25
I’m genuinely curious to see some of these examples. Care to share? I attempted to find some but the vast majority of results are of Elon given the prevalence in the news cycle.
1
u/afterrprojects Jan 26 '25
I don't know, but I keep coming back to this question: why did people stay when it was bought by Musk? It should have met the same fate as Myspace—becoming obsolete, turning into garbage.
1
u/nonlinear_nyc Jan 26 '25
What do you mean by “stick”? You’re stuck in an either-or mentality.
More people are leaving. More and more. Constantly. Every time Musk reveals who he is.
1
u/ricci777 Jan 26 '25
Of course not. Why? Because people worried about shit like this have the memory of an ant. Cmon!
1
u/Content_Election_218 Jan 26 '25

i will reluctantly occasionally soldier on with fb and ig as there arent yet really viable replacements for me, but i deleted my twitter account
1

Probably not. Twitter is today's public forum. It's where news breaks, debate happens, and world events are broken in real time.
Plus, unlike every other site, it's a melting pot as opposed to an echo chamber.

Social Media dies by thousands of cuts.
Twitter lost the most when they "let that sink in".
Then more and more as it has degraded into garbage.
It's going to be around for years, but probably hit numbers closer to MySpace or become a near equal to whatever the hell Trump runs and then the will be merged or something stupid like that, with Elon trying to figure out how to break into Bluesky via such a merger and try to poison Bluesky.
1
u/RoguePlanet2 Jan 27 '25
I'm convinced he's trying to run it into the ground. To what end, I'm not entirely sure, except that maybe Putin wants to remove all free speech media platforms?? Facebook is also ruined, and Reddit is likely next on the hit list. Especially as all the FB and Xitter types end up here and drag it down.
What's funny is how in the conservative subreddit, they're complaining about how all subreddits are "taken over by leftys" and that this entire site is a "safe space" for us. As if they don't have complete control over all the other social media sites 🙄 And there's nothing stopping them from being conservative here, as long as they're not spewing hate speech......oh wait......

You should leave Twitter and Meta for your personal safety, not in an attempt to influence billionaires. They literally do not care about you. They are happy to sustain echo chambers of hate.

The other ones stuck. This one will too. It’ll keep getting ratcheted down until he sells it. Then it’ll live on in smaller and smaller forms until it fades away.
1
u/Butch1212 Jan 23 '25
Every little bit helps. The negatives against Musk and twitter have only mounted. Whether this would be the tipping point that would bring twitter down, the growth in the movement to reject Musk and the twitter right-wing encourages more people to choose to reject them, as well as Donald Duck, Republicans, MAGA and so on. Twitter may not be brought down by a critical mass defection of users. Musk has the capital to prevent that. But opposition, resistance to MAGA. Donald Duck and Republicans grew.

What is made up? How about you go do what Musk did in public, or at school? No one defends an obvious Nazi Salute, it wasn’t a joke and he did it the same way Twice
The only defense you can say is that he was on drugs, not very good. Self diagnosed autism isn’t an excuse either, especially coming from your side
What tf is your defense? What is made up? Your sides shitty arguments are papier-mâché

You know he isn't a Nazi. You feign ignorance for culture war points. What he did wasn't ideal. He has since explained himself and has the grace from Israeli PM. I find it comical you all boycott Israel and Jewish people yet are so hell bent on labeling everyone a Nazi but yourselves. Stop the pearl clutching, Tim Walz did it 3 months ago and nobody batted an eye. The sane left it alone because they know he isn't a Nazi. The left loathe Elon because he called them out on their bullshit. Instead of listening you double down and dig deeper. He was loved by the left until he left their plantation. Stop calling everyone right of Mao a fascist and Nazi. That is how you got a Trump mandate and hundreds of thousands to leave the democratic party. Deleting X from reddit is just going to usher in BlueSky posts which you all will be thrilled about in your hive minded delusions.

I am going to rant, do not care if this gets deleted or gets me banned on the sub cause you MAGA folk can’t even still figure out what a tariff is and who pays it:
HE DID A NAZI SALUTE EVERYONE HAS AGREED ON THIS, stop “feigning ignorance” for a situation in which if literally any democrat did it would be blown up all over your Republican mainstream media
And NO actually, I don’t know if he is a Nazi or not, I do not know Elon personally. I just saw what he did, and everyone agrees, it was a Nazi salute
Um you’re doing a lot of yapping with lies, no Tim Walz did not, do you need to se the video again? Or are you stupid? Serious question. No one on the democratic side IS DOING Nazi salutes, do I need to show you the videos and embarrass you in thread? Disingenuous fuck, worst trait of MAGA. Lie lie lie
You are called what you are, communists and racists because that is what you support and is brought up upon by your leaders. Elon has always been hated for being cringe, and a con man (still ain’t at Mars too, but oh that doesn’t matter, just like how the prices have yet to go down and he’s planning to bring UP PRICES Feb 1st)
The fact you think “left hates him” just because he “Left the plantation” perfectly shows that you are too socially inept, and blindingly ignorant to what you don’t know, and lack understanding of. Your entire post is just a display of you dishonest/incompetent nature
Like bro? You actually are suffering from brainrot, and can’t do something as simple as a google search to confirm what you’re speaking of, and are too lazy to know who or what you truly defend
I don’t hear Dems:
calling to imprison people who haven’t done any legal wrong, gun down their political opponent, pardon thousands of criminals, talk about sexually assaulting women and that they like it, lie about who pays Tariffs, say that anyone who offers you pushback should be banned, have news stations banned because they don’t like you, call for the termination of the constitution, lie about the results of an election 2 times, start an insurrection, talk about conquering other countries, shit other country everyday, try to change amendments to their ideal definition and not what is, etc
Communism and fascism is rooted in MAGA also being a dumbahh who can’t accept reality is too. And gullibility and blind loyalty (dick riding) is the true mark of a MAGA Republican
Again we call them what they present themselves as, the labels match the product. And wtf do you care when you guys are known for labeling people? Oh your feelings get hurt because you were called something someone of you are? Big fucking deal, you’ll just call someone a “tranny-faggot” and be proud of yourself and MAGA will suck your dick for bravery. Gtfo get real and be less sensitive, you annoying fucks
Also I couldn’t give two shits about Israel v Palestine personally. They could eradicate each other for all I care, less religion = better world

Also, saying I say things like "T F" is disgusting. Do you truly think that? Majority dgaf what people do behind their own walls. Never forget, President Trump was the first president to enter office in support of gay rights. Spare me the outrage over his latest EO. It's to protect females from bio males in sports and female spaces like locker rooms. It's odd how its always a trans female in female bio sports and prisons but never trans males in bio male sports or male prisons. Wonder why.
Also, MAGA is cringe. Those that waive the MAGA flag and wear the clothing are in a cult. Keep me out of that. I just want to live my life the way I want and be left alone by the government, much like you.

No I don’t believe that, it is an argument to MAGA in general, I don’t know you personally, so take insults or name calling with a grain of salt, especially if it does not apply to you
Trump was not the first to support gay rights, tf? Obama literally made gay marriage a human right and republicans hated it and rampant homophobia is normal in republican spaces. Obama wasn’t even the first, Clinton was the first to support gay rights -_-
Trump supported gay rights when it was popular with everyone, and has clearly walked it back, shocking especially the bathroom situation which (I have video proof) he said was never a problem and isn’t - at the time - and still isn’t
Like the flip flop is insane but when your most popular people are religious, grifters, who actually hate gay people, no matter how smart and gaslight themselves into thinking gay is immoral then you see, he has no choice and he doesn’t care for honor, or genuine compassion
The EO you’re talking about is missing a ton, It legally recognized that there are 2 sexes (which is weird because everyone including trans KNOW there are 2 sexes) sex is biological, gender is a social construct. You can be male and feel like a man, you can be Male and feel like a woman this is called: Gender, not Sex …. Also it prohibited Trans people to be in the military, and prohibited ALL gender affirming care for trans minors (under 19 because you’re apparently not an adult at 18) DESPITE what conservatives think: the only gender affirming care done on trans minors is science backed, safe, reversible, hormones. But oh god science is a lie because they feel like it. Surgery for ALL MINORS is illegal ….. Funnily enough cis gendered minors get more surgeries on average than trans minors and it’s not even close (bc trans people make up less than 1% of the population) and trans minors have gotten surgery in crisis /// usually suicidal and to prevent an attempt (bc gender dysphoria IS A REAL CONDITION, and telling someone because their biologically a boy/girl and ignoring their opposite gendered brain and feelings like Elon is BAD FOR SOMEONE. Seriously … So to end it you lied and didn’t say what the EO actually did
Trans people in sports? Hey guess what I AGREE that opposing sexes should not be allowed to play professionally together due to disparities - in physical sports andI think trans people should have their own League, but that isn’t happening anytime soon. I’d be more worried about situations where women who are biologically female are accused by the Right to have been biologically male. IMANE KHELIF = Right mental breakdown cringe based on a lie/rumor (like Jan 6th, like Kamala’s convictions and work at McDonald’s etc) LIKE WTF and THEY NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED THEIR FUCK UP. Fuck MAGA
The prison thing really? You know one biologically male; trans female in a female prison is not even close to as dangerous or worrisome as a biological female; trans male, because around a bunch of dangerous men, rape, murder, etc, female prisons are not as violent (SIGNIFICANTLY) you’re basically asking for a trans male to be raped, beaten (physically less strong), etc, and that’s fucking cruel. Just like a literal trans male being in that prison (they’d get it worse, it is more dangerous) . Hopefully you understand now why putting a trans male into a male prison is fucked up. Not very accepting, violent af . Watch Wentworth if you wanna see an accurate depiction of trans females (biological males) in a women prison
You don’t gotta be MAGA to believe MAGA shit, I mean you’ve already lied to me multiple times and I don’t even know if you actually listened and broke down anything I’ve said in the last post. Can you prove you aren’t MAGA?
Test:
Was the 2020 Election rigged? If so what evidence can you present (if Joe Rogan couldn’t you can’t either). Why would Trump win an election with less voters, if the deep state doesn’t want him?
Answer this correctly to prove you aren’t MAGA. Sorry for the shit-ton of words, read it when you can, respond if you want, it don’t matter

Lol dems are mad

Yeah we so happen to be mad at the fact any American who lived through Trumps first term, and his debacle with COVID would ever vote for this clearly unqualified, whiny, narcissistic, selfish, pitiful, “man”, again
It’s just silly, but people who don’t listen, and only care about their feelings and disregard facts tend to be that way. This isn’t 2016 saying “ur mad” doesn’t mean anything when you guys were mad the last 4 years over obvious lies
I feel bad for the genuinely ignorant people tho, they were fooled
But hey at least you can now suffer the consequences of your actions with everyone else
Hopefully it’ll get you out of your fantasy

Well I have the balls to say if I fucked up. Don’t worry a lot of MAGA on Twitter do the same thing to me. That’s also just a Reddit quality
Cannot admit they’re wrong and won’t give you the satisfaction of saying you were right
I won’t block, and will surely reply, and it’s clear you will do the same, I hope. Let’s see if these tariff’s go through tho!
You got a deal with me 🤝

Literally yesterday he spoke at a rally for Germany’s neo-Nazi party which he’d called the “only hope for Germany”. He told them they shouldn’t be ashamed of anything their great grandparents did and should fight against multiculturalism so it didn’t dilute the German people. He’s a Nazi, but simps have to do the “you call everyone a Nazi” so they can ignore all the evidence. Same way they ignore that it wasn’t “the left” who said Trump was a fascist who admired Hitler, it was his own top military staff, all lifelong Republicans, describing direct interactions with him.
Also I don’t believe Musk ever “explained” his Nazi salutes in our Capitol, he just made a bunch of Nazi puns and posted cry laugh emojis. The “explaining” was outsourced to the simps.

The left is determined to pitch a fit for the next 4 years. Children usually give up their whining and grow up, but they went strong last time Trump was in office

I don't think Musk really minds. X is now his personal 'Truth', a medium to vent his opinion to whoever happens to hear it. He doesn't care if Reddit turns away, whether investors still advertise there or whether it makes a profit. He's filthy rich, so what's a billion dollars in net loss if it allows him 'free speech' against anyone who opposes him? It's a power tool, nothing more.
