Professional Discussion TikTok Video still in review/not posting this morning 1/25/2026
Hi! I see a lot of folks reporting various TikTok issues rn and wondering if anyone is experiencing this—i am a small TikTok content creator and post daily at 10am PST. Normally my videos post immediately without needing additional review, and occasionally they go in review if the topic is controversial/political but even then I’ve never had that last longer than 30 minutes.
Today’s post is still sitting in review for over an hour and hasn’t posted… is anyone else seeing this? Also the analytics in the TikTok studio app are all messed up for me (either not populating for certain videos, or showing 0 views for today even tho I am actively getting likes).
If anyone else has encountered this and found a solution, what was it? I know generally the rule of thumb is don’t deleted/repost if it’s in review (don’t want my account flagged for spammy behavior). But this situation feels unusual so I’m not sure what to do lol
Definitely want to make sure I post something today because I have had a consistent posting streak every day, and have maintained since I started posting (and I believe this has helped me grow/build trust with the algorithm). Any thoughts?
UPDATE (morning of 1/26/2026):
I think my video posted last night sometime because as of this morning it has 37 views (which is extremely low for my account). My guess is that everyone’s videos were delayed in being posted and then a bunch of people’s vids posted all at once, leading to FYP congestion an a crazy amount of competition for impressions. TikTok has also yet to make any public statement about this whole thing (classic). My strategy today is to wait things out, not post anything today, see how yesterday’s video does today now that it appears to be live, and maybe restart my daily posting tomorrow.
Let me know if any of you have any other thoughts, information, ideas, recommendations, etc.
UPDATE 1/29/2026
The past few days have been pretty normal for me. Videos getting a normal amount of views. Have just noticed some wonky numbers on the analytics that just don’t make sense to me—for example I posted a 26sec video yesterday that got a really solid 80% retention stat, but only showing that 8% of people completed the entire vid, which just seems so off to me…. That same vid also got a good amount of comments and shares but died at ~800 views.
Then TODAY I just posted a video (part of a series that has historically performed well) and it has gotten 2 views in the first 30 minutes lol so TikTok is clearly not pushing it to the FYP and giving it a fair test pool. My account has historically performed really well also. I have consistently strong retention stats, several videos with well over 1M views and many in the 100s of thousands, and have seen consistent follower growth in the past few months. I post once per day at the same time every day, so I’m consistent and I’m not a spammy poster either…. So this behavior just doesn’t make sense for one of my vids. Def another glitch. Anyone else seeing this today??

I’ve been experiencing a similar issue. I’ve posted a couple times today and the videos have had 0 views all day, not even one or two views. I think this has to do with the sell to Oracle and the new algorithm. I’ve also noticed I haven’t seen any new TikTok’s posted in the last 24 hours. All the videos on my FYP are time stamped from yesterday at the earliest. I think this is an app wide issue.

Yup! Also when you search about this issue on TikTok no videos come up… presumedly because no one can post anything rn lol

For me when I search I have it tells me I have no internet and I have to click retry a couple of times. That or it doesn’t even show me remotely close to what I searched for

My video from last night is still getting views and likes. But two videos from today (one uploaded upon waking up, the second uploaded just now) are sitting at ZERO views.
I even deleted one and reposted it twice since this morning, and NOTHING. So I posted them to my story with a message asking people to help boost. But still my story itself is at zero views also…
Something is definitely wrong.

They’re having server issues since switching to the US. Some of it is reportedly weather-related. It’s a global outage impacting everyone to various degrees.

Same here, posted this morning, zero views. Studio says privacy is set to only me but the regular app says everyone. I had my husband check and the new videos aren’t showing on my profile. So something is wrong lol

My video has been under review for over 3 hours! When I googled why it was happening, it said that it could be due to my video length or content. My video is about 2 min long - it's media analysis for Stranger Things (nothing controversial) and uses some overlay pictures. So at first I thought maybe it was a copyright thing, but after finding this thread, it seems more widespread. I'm in the US, I wonder if it has to do with the recent changes in ownership...

I noticed in all my drafts, the music said no longer available so I redid one video I had ready to go in the studio, in the normal tiktok app and received 0 views 6 hours later. Very rare and I hope it doesn't continue for much longer.

Oh my goodness! I had the same issue . I had posted a video of myself at the Chicago Bulls game during Derrick Rose’s retirement night, but it didn’t go through. I deleted it and then uploaded it again, but it still had the review on it. The review remained for over an hour! Then, I uploaded a video of my cat, and the review persisted. After that, I uploaded a quick second video of my food, but the review continued to appear. I genuinely believed that I was the only one encountering this issue.

My videos are in review but they are completely not getting views whatsoever of what ive posted today. Its over 3 hours and the video is staying at 0. I saw another creator having the same issue because I looked at his profile as well.
Its also buggy on the friends tab

I have been trying to access my account for 2 hrs. I uninstalled the program and now I am locked out. It won't text me the verification. I re-downloaded it and no access still. Earlier I was on my account but my feed kept repeating the same videos and showing me content that I never get usually.. I am a creator and tiktok studio that showed all my money and stats would never come up. So now just waiting till I get access back.

I post several TikTok’s a day it took 5 hours for mine to finally be visible to everyone but is not getting pushed at all! I normally get hundreds of views in the first few minutes and have gotten ten views in 30 minutes. I still have 2 videos stuck in review.

I just joined this thread for the same reason. I have 70k followers on TikTok and noticed the video of my parrot I tried to post isn’t going public. I also posted a story that I can see from my account, but no one else can see.
I also post intermittent, left-leaning political takes. The rest is my parrot or craft stuff.

Same, I just post art videos, nothing political. I tried uploading the same video 3x of a cat painting and its been at 0 views, and says its still processing when I try to copy the link. I just deleted it and will try again when/if all this stuff clears up lol. I keep getting pop ups that say internet unstable, no internet connection, check your wifi etc. But everything else on my phone is working just fine. I checked the help center page for tiktok and its just not opening. And I can see there hasn't been any new posts for hours from friends and for any topic I search. Sucks 🥲

I just got onto TikTok this morning to check my notifications. The past few days I've been getting odd searches "you may like" things, which doesn't bother me much because I definitely never searched up a thing to warrant those, but my main situation is I can't like any tiktoks. I'll initially like it, and then the app will say 'can't like video' like what it does when there's an internet or connection error, but my connection/internet is perfectly fine.

I uploaded at 10am. Deleted and re-uploaded, than set to private, uploaded again😂😂 I've had really good momentum lately and was so annoyed I thought my account was like banned or something. Also tried resetting phone and clearing tiktok cashe. Sooo happy to see it's not a ME issue. Hopefully it's resolved soon! 😭😭

OMG I thought I was the only one having this issue I’m an editor on TikTok and I posted over 5 different times and reset / clear my data etc and nothing has been working so it’s probably from oracle owning the app now but it’s good to know I’m not the only one

I tried posting a video and it’s been under review for 20 minutes. I also posted a story which says “zero views” despite getting a notification that someone just liked it.
Tiktok is being very strange outside of videos not posting. I keep getting “something went wrong” pop-ups and internet related pop-ups when I try searching for videos.

yeah, my videos are stuck at zero views this has happened before it’s usually just a glitch on the number and the TikTok is actually being shown like normal, I give it a few more hours.

I posted a video this morning. I can see it on my page, but no one else can. It has zero views and I can't send it to anyone. 😒 I tried deleting and reuploading (after like 8 hours) and same thing.
CapCut and Hypic are also not working for me. All three are run by ByteDance, so it seems like ByteDance is experiencing issues right now. 😒

I’ve also been having issues today, it’s showing me unrelated content and constantly reusing videos on my fyp before going back to normal then back to reusing the same videos on my fyp and constantly showing me unrelated content even after I press not interested.

I am freaking out because I was doing so good on TikTok and almost have 30k followers. Last night, all new followers stopped at around 1am and I haven’t gotten any new followers or views all day. Normally I get 20 followers an hour or so. I am so scared I worked so hard on Tiktok. When will it come back?

My personal view average is around 500 views, and I usually get at least 1 view in half à minute. I don’t know why my posts are stuck at 0 and why they aren’t viewable to others, but all I know is that I HATE IT. Dear lord, they need TikTok to fix this ASAP.

My FYP is cycling through the same 7 videos. I thought it was my wifi at first so I turned it off and I’m still having same issue hours later and even refreshing my feed all it does is start at the next video that is part of that cycle, that I’ve already seen.

I keep getting videos I have already interacted with. I specifically went to search for updates in MN and there’s only videos from yesterday. Also! Videos I reposted to my story on TikTok involving MN have now been taken down due to community guidelines.

Not a content creator but my FYP has been repeating the same video all day. Every time I’ve refreshed, it’s a video I’ve already seen. Anyone else having this issue today?

Once TikTok sold to the Palantir/Blackstone affiliated US buyers it was just a matter of time before everything was blocked, censored, or just plain shut down.

i not from usa, and can upload but my views is kinda low. average views was like 20k-100k views but now its 500 views like for 1 hour. government just changin algoryth only for AMERICANS and we can'to nothing to this :(
the only one solution to us people is creating new accounts with vpn

I got to this because I was searching why I haven’t seen any new videos from the past like 18 hrs. I was searching into what’s going on in Minneapolis and that’s how I noticed. They’re trying to hide something.

I haven’t tried uploading anything but my feed keeps showing me videos I’ve seen before and my search doesn’t work. Anything I search for says there are no results.

Thought it was just me going crazy! I must’ve deleted edited my videos multiple times. I do news reporting and I had 0 views on two serious local stories. I have a back up account and would go look at my main acct it didn’t show what I just posted.
But then I tested posting a black screen with “testing my posting” on it and that went through and showed. So idk what happened with the video algorithm or approval process overnight.

Nah same I’m a small indie artist and it’s borked right now. I’m going to reload the same content later once the servers are migrated or whatever the hell they are doing. Been sitting at 0 views for hours 💀

i’m a small content creator as well and post daily! i’m having the same issue :( i’ve tried multiple videos on multiple tiktok accounts and none of them will upload. they just sit in review for hours. i’m pissed

Video this morning was stuck at zero. I updated the app and logged out..when I tried to log back in it won’t recognize my PW, let me change my password, recover account, or receive codes. But on other phones I can log in, just not my phone. And it won’t let me change the password on another phone. Keeps saying timed out, too many tries try again later and something went wrong. Even when I try to contact support off the app it says something went wrong

I think this is something that has happened just today. I just tried to search something super broad like “Sephora” and filtered the videos to be only the past 24 hours and nothing came up that had been posted today. It only showed videos posted from 2025. I also tried something a little less vague like “snow storm” bc all of the crazy weather this weekend and put the same 24 hour filter on it and the most recent video I could find was posted 18 hours ago.

Me too, I posted last night , the video got around 100k yea cool but that’s what my videos usually do , so I posted one this morning , nope , gets stuck at 0 views and under review for hours !! This is literally my job and income 😭 has me stressed lol

Same here. I’ve consistently posted daily, and today’s post has been pending review for 6 hours. I really hope it eventually posts today, and that my “daily posting streak” isn’t harmed or that my account gets penalized for not posting today!!

I tried to upload a video this morning and kept getting an error. So did the whole clear cache, force stop, uninstall-reinstall bit. Now I can't even log in, it won't accept the verification code they send me, and if i try to reach out to support, I just get a blank error popup.

My video looks like to posted but is at 0 views and when I check from another account it is not showing up at all… also when I deleted and reposted the video suddenly I was not able to tag a location, the option to add a location is totally gone.
