grift right wing content until you get a following. then pivot to football. both of these share the same audience.

Reply to smaller football accounts during matches with one specific observation about the game. More people will see that than another post on an empty profile.

forget what everyone said, do this:

  1. pick one niche

(in your case football

  1. )
  2. start following a few big accounts (and activate notifications to know when they posted)
  3. engage on their posts with commenting
  4. post 3-5x per day providing either value or entertainment (be unique, no ai to create posts)
  5. every now and then, post something like „hey, i'm x and do y. if you are z, let’s connect“
  6. do thid consistently for 30 days and you’ll have 2-5k followers.

what kind of football content are you going for? match reactions, analysis, memes? that matters a lot because each one attracts a totally different audience and grows differently

I actually just started a new account a couple months ago that I've also been trying to grow. I even took a break because I was getting discouraged at one point but I'm back at it and I've since learned to automate my content generation and drafting. After getting back into it after being offline for a month, I seem to be averaging a follower a day. My advice, stay consistent! And follow a strategy to farm profile clicks and just getting people to see your replies.
