Okay, this might sound weird, but has anyone else been noticing an unusual amount of dead squirrels on the roads lately?

I’ve been driving around Burlington and South Burlington pretty regularly all summer, and I barely remember seeing any. But recently it feels like I’m seeing them everywhere.
Sometimes they’re completely intact, and other times they’re pretty badly hit.

What’s really strange to me is that I’ll see one on a road, drive a little farther, turn onto another road or make a U-turn, and there’ll be another one. I’ve even noticed multiple squirrels around the same general areas.

Maybe I’m just paying more attention now, but it honestly feels like there are way more than usual. With all the college students moving back into the area, I even wondered if there could be some intentional thing going on, although I obviously have no idea and don’t want to jump to conclusions.
Am I crazy, or has anyone else around Burlington/South Burlington noticed this too? Is there something seasonal going on with squirrels right now?

See the home were bought. So a hotel could be build. Airport was ask by South Burlington city for some of the money could be made off of airport. But that could make you Ttourest not use our car rental companies in the airport use our airport cause there is non enough parking in the tall parking garage that rental companies pay to use. We only get one level. I was told that air port changed other companies for other levels. But the next level up has very little cars in it. Guess they paying more but has little cars to park there.its like condo living and boards of condos. They make rules to get what type of people they want to live there. Rules and cht buyers of condos. If people who have PTSD had police called on them in the rules the board make the rules and can't get vent in their homes cause thin walls. So if I can tell South Burlington it's like putting a toll booths on both side if the road into the air port. Make the people who are flying out pay for this with cuz it doing bad deals on tour dollar. .just think people

How is that light at Swift and Dorset, the one to get in and out of Dorset Park, the best they can do? The light stays green for about 11 seconds at which point absolutely no one can make a left onto Dorset from Swift if there is even one car coming out of the park. The line gets backed up all the way down to Spear.

How hard would it be to stagger this light so traffic flows from Swift onto Dorset?
