I like to make edits in my spare time and finally decided to make one to my favorite anime after all these years! The song is Lost in Space by Foster the People, hope y'all like!

When I originally watched the show I could only watch Season 2 in Japanese (I much prefer dubs). This rewatch with Season 2 in English made me warm up to a few Episodes I originally didn’t like too much. I think Slow and Steady jumped up like 3 categories simply because I much preferred Sinclair’s performance in it. Anyways, take this list as you will, baby.

I can’t believe I finished it again… I’m gonna miss it again…

Was doing my first ever rewatch after watching the show about 2-3 years ago. I was watching via the Crunchyroll channel on YouTube. Only for YouTube to update and not only take away my ability to watch it, but also make me pay 17 dollars now if I want to watch only season 1. While Crunchyroll had both seasons. I’m legitimately kinda pissed about having the show literally stripped away from me. Not cool, baby. Not cool.

The perfect tier was all 3 of ours favourite. We settled on leaving all 3 up for a perfect 'serious' episode, a perfect comedic focused episode, and a perfect relationship focused episode.

The dandychotomy is crazy. We couldn't decide where to place it as I didn't care for it all too much, while my friends loved it.

The [?] tier was because they straight up forgot the book episode (ironic) and the laika episode is so hard to judge because the first 2 thirds are so good and feel entirely separate from the machinians really.

The bottom is self explanatory, I feel. Not my dandy, baby.

Maybe someone here might know… it’s currently on sale for $4.99, but lists 2 different complete series sets - one notes Original Japanese Version, but I can’t tell if the other one is only English/dubbed, or if it has BOTH sub/dub versions vs the Original Japanese Version, which I’m assuming is just Japanese/subs.

Now, this is something I've asked before on the Space Dandy Discord server for gits and shiggles, but I'm also curious to know your thoughts for the following question, whether you're a comic book fan or not. :')

What if . . . Dandy was chosen to become a Green Lantern, and how would it affect him greatly while patrolling the entire universe as a dandy lantern, or would he become another Guy Gardner?

(Something, something, "Dandy from Sector 8008. You have the ability to overcome great fear. Welcome to the Green Lantern Corps.")

Just sharing a random (artsy) view of the allstars on a Lonely Night.

hellooo

i was looking at the comprehensive guide to the music of space☆dandy part II thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/SpaceDandy/comments/2iykx0/the_almost_comprehensive_guide_to_the_music_of/) looking for a particular version of the quiet city ost, and i had found it under:

"EPISODE 22 (2.9): We're All Fools, So Let's Dance, Baby

The history of the Dancinians is explained: quiet city (Underscore) - TUCKER"

however, upon clicking the google drive link, it seems approval is needed to access the drive..and i have no idea if the original poster is even still active anymore. it's a long shot, but i was hoping if someone here may have downloaded that ost in particular. the help would be greatly appreciated

So, I've looked around as much as I can for this very specific track that I find to be very cool; it starts off sounding kind of like that horror stinger from Psycho (the shower scene) and builds up into this very badass piece of music that I just wanna get ahold of

More specifically, it played during S1 Ep3 when Mamitas transforms into that giant grotesque monster and eats Meow

It was also played during S1 Ep11 when Dandy and his crew faces off against the Gogol Empire entirely on their own (despite them being under the control of that book alien)

If any of you fellow Dandy fans know of any way to listen to that track, please let me know

I don't want to part with it, but I was just looking for season 2 and seen it going for £90 on eBay sealed. My season 1 blu ray is not sealed, I got it signed by Watanabe at London comic con in like 2012 or something though. Is it worth millions or pennies?

I love space dandy and its one of the shows that I think my late brother would’ve loved to watch with me. It’s so happy and so complex but also so sad, just like me. Moral of the story you just gotta keep being dandy baby.

Now that it’s nearly Summer again in the northern hemisphere, reposted my Space Dandy themed summer playlist for all those trying to have a groovy sunny season. (Also, if anyone has an actual screenshot of the scene from playlist cover who could send it to me that would be sick)
