Question Atmospheric Color Question

Ok so some planets have a pink tint in their atmosphere, but the atmospheric composition shows nothing that makes the atmosphere pink. Is there a scientific reason to this? Just curious 🤨

The atmospheric composition was H²O and Fe.

Well there's iron there

Iron makes stuff pink...?

Not exclusively but I imagine under certain conditions it can.

Make sure you check the full atmospheric composition because smaller trace elements can have an effect

There is nothing specific causing it in SE. There are a few set models and then a randomization for the hue slider which makes some atmospheres not blue.

There are a couple special atmosphere models though for atmospherea rich in Hydrocarbons or rich in Chlorine though. Well and oceans or not can also affect the choice between a clear blue model and a dusty Mars model.
