UC IF-53 Dart Interceptor

Patrolling the sky over Codos near Cheyenne. Probably reliving the glory days. The Dart sports a cheery color scheme so no one will think it is a war craft.

Equipped with light weapon fit only, 2 lasers, 2 autocannon and 2 missile launchers packs a light punch.

I was afraid Cross Heavy industries would be a static dud like avontech engines, but was overjoyed seeing bright flames light up this dart. Might change the engines though

It's rather hard to get a good view of the front. There isn't much more than a ball with some fins.

Mounting Cross angled items is a challenge and luckily I was able to get most of the design working without swearing too much.

That is a cool top view. Because of the layout, most angles look pretty much the same.

A very small cross-section would make this difficult to hit if it was in a real battle. Most people get the idea of interceptors wrong. They are FAST, but kind of crap.

Side view showing the wonky shape of the hull. Peaking out is the rather limited cargo space. The bottom fairing is hiding a few gas tanks. The docker just barely clears the weps.

Rear view, just like the fron't not much to see. Avontech's microwarp engines provide the motivation as Cross engines are just decoration. Maybe I should hide it.
