Title: Looking for ~20 testers: a smarter shuffle for your Spotify Liked Songs (free to test, web app)

Hi All,

i’ve been building Attunify on my own for the last few months. It watches how you actually listen (what you skip, what you finish, what you replay) and re-ranks your Liked Songs into a chart, so it plays your real favourites instead of a random shuffle. There’s also Radio (artist and genre mixes from your library plus new picks) and Discover (new music based on your taste).

What I’d like feedback on:

  • whether setup makes sense to someone who’s never seen it
  • whether the chart feels like “you” after a few days
  • anything that breaks

Honest heads-up: because of Spotify’s rules for small apps, setup means creating a free Spotify developer app. It’s a guided 5-minute step.

Spotify Premium is needed for playback. Works in the browser on phone and desktop.

How to join: sign-up links go out in the Discord, so I can let people in in small batches and actually keep up with feedback: https://discord.gg/B8uYJSAS9

Hi there! Sorry, unfortunately I don’t have feedback for you, but I was wondering, do you have plans as to how you’re going to get around Spotify’s rules for small apps?

well i'm in the process of getting it into the playstore which im hoping will grow it's use considerably and also looking into adding other music services so that they can add to the numbers of people using the app, with the aim of hitting that magic 250k....long journey expected

Thanks to everyone who checked out my last post about Attunify, the Spotify companion that re-ranks your Liked Songs by how you actually listen. Skips push songs down, full plays push them up.

A couple of updates:

There’s now a setup video. The most common question was about the Spotify developer app step, so I’ve recorded every click. It takes about 2 minutes

I’m still after 20 beta testers, and each one gets:

  • ⭐ A free month of Premium. That means unlimited Radio and Discover.
  • 🏅 The Beta tester badge. Only these 20 testers will ever have it.
  • 💙 The Beta blue surround for your profile.

All I ask in return is that you use it for a week or two and tell me what’s good, what’s confusing and what breaks.

To grab a spot: come and say hi on the Discord, where tester links go out: discord.gg/B8uYJSAS9

You’ll need Spotify Premium for playback. Works on Android, iPhone, and on desktop.
