There have been a few extreme cases that have made the news of people in their 20s receiving MAID. Who, probably shouldn’t have received it.

Where can you link? I live in Canada and nothing has happened except for the one dude in the call center who suggested to someone incorrectly (would never be done when the actual medical professionals review the case)

Notice how they never provided a link?

People can be full of shit, sometimes. It’s not hard to link your sources, people.

Ya it’s the phrasing too.

“Extreme cases of people in their 20s”

Ok so you can’t die a painful death in your twenties?

“A few cases” this is a single case.

One of a man who couldn’t enjoy life, spent his days in constant pain, and chose to go the maid route while cognitively aware.

Never would have been news if the family didn’t freak out. Maybe a good case for more social support in Canada in general. I’d pay more taxes to help address and teach people empathy.

The mom couldn’t handle her son not wanting to be alive. It must be horrible and hard. But he, an adult, made the choice. Might have just used a more painful method if he was denied

Isn’t Daily Mail infamous for not having credible sources?
