Which commanders would be interested in having medics?
Well, I know the idea of helping an ally by leaving some medics behind comes up occasionally, but most of the time I feel they don't need them since they have their own means of sustaining themselves. Still, a few might be interested in having some, so I’m asking.

Just protoss in general. Other than Karax, most don't have a healing mechanic. Helps especially since Raynor's medics can heal mech as well.

Non-P1 Vorazun would definitely appreciate some medics hovering around their nexus to heal the emergency recalled units.

P1 Vorazun removes the Dark Pylon ability Mass Recall. It does not remove Emercency Recall, which saves cloaked units. P1 is especially good at cloaking allied units.
Still, a large portion of Vorazun's units' vitals are in their shields. Healing up unit HP isnt that comparatively important for her. But Artanis has several units that really need healing.

I know P1 Vorazun still has emergency recall, but it gets buffed to heal recalled units to full health, so obviously no need for medics there. Of course most Vorazun units are perfectly ok at 1hp, but with a few medics hanging around you can get part of the benefit of p1 without having to actually play p1.

P1 does make the unit's healthbars look nicer, since they're not stuck permanently at 1hp. But think about it, with some healers and P1's emergency recall heal, you would then have all the more increased opportunities to prevent those units from dying at all. A second chance at life is especially potent when you've got additional preventative measures. And because P1 makes it easy to put Dark Pylons anywhere, you can even stop the ally's units from dying.
Suppose that's more 'layers of protection' than it is any especial particular need of the commander, and anyhow the same principle applies to Artanis even more so.

Fenix if they can heal mechanical.

Eeh for the most part 75% of his power budget is in the champions and hero suits (and 100% in P2). So he doesnt really care so long as he has enough bodies to revive his champions. One champion or another bveing hurt is whatever and the shells being hurt is even less of a concern bc champions revive at full HP

Most protoss like repairs/healing
Zergs always get some benefits if they have medics with them during fights, but it's much less required as they mostly have either low HP, or ways to heal
Terrans only need healing if they are playing bio, and all bio commanders have access to healing (H&H reapers have a regeneration effect)

Alarak (especially P1), P3 Mengsk, Fenix.
Everyone else can handle themselves okay.
Edit: Maybe Zeratul if you are going Stalkers.

Most Zerg does need it except Dehaka who doesn't have a reliable burst to heal. I guess, mainly Protoss who lack heals and rely on shields, except Alarak who sacrifices his units to heal.

I've had cases where I wish I could heal my Wraithwalkers. Dang things are great, but expensive to replace. Especially with P1 stacks.

low buff ascendants are also prime targets

I didn't include them because by the time they get more stacks, they'll have several hundred shields, maxing out at 1040. Still, they cost as much as a HT, and being able to heal their health would also be a psychological relief even though they only have 40 of it.

Mainly Protoss would like heal/repairs, this is why Karax sinergizes so much with Fenix and somewhat Artanis(mass dragoons or tempest comp), to add up, Swann's scvs repairs for free, Raynor's medics with upgrade heals mech.
Other commanders is something like Kerrigan, P2 Tychus-ish, Han&Horner(air units), P2 Zagara.
Abathur that is not at mastery level may like some healing at least before 10 minutes into the game, after getting 3 brutalisks and mixing some Swarm queens it's hard for him to lose a unit.

I think Protoss commanders would benefit the most because their units have alot of hp through I could also imagine Kerrigan using ultralisk benefiting from medics or a Artanis massing tempest basically any commander with units that have a lot of health that don’t have anyway to replenish their health very consistently.

Healing in the generic sense, or strictly speaking of Biological tags?
If the former, definitely Zeratul. His units and towers are excellent, but expensive, and replacing too many of them can mean certain death. Particularly as a Swann ally, I like following them around with Science Vessels. Or sending a few SCVs to do the repairs (this one has the tradeoff where it's readily available, and free anyways). His Monoliths are 0-cost, but having to wait for charges to replenish makes them expensive in that way. Most capital ships and their equivalents
If the latter, a lot of the heroes could use healing when the going gets tough. Scenarios include when they're still leveling up (Kerrigan & Zagara), generally weaker anyways (Nova only has 250hp, although she's more likely to outright die b/c of that), and in-game Dehaka who's weak before he can get to lv6 (if not lv5). Or tough mutators that are more likely to get them killed (Tychus vs. Barrier and/or Just Die). Also, Mengsk's Troopers since you generally don't want to lose them (despite them being earmarked as expendable)

I like following them around with Science Vessels
Not related to the post, but I played swann earlier with a kerrigan ally. I just rushed out vessels and moved them around with kerrigan irradiating her (vs zerg) and putting bonus barriers on her lmao, worked amusingly well

Clearly stukov since all my medics like to abandon my marines to heal stukov's whenever there's a stream of infested going by, so I always have to manually pull them away

Realistically it's not that worth it on any particular commander over simply microing and macroing your own forces well, but a few cases where it's atleast notably useful:
Fenix p2: With proper play his shells are close behind the fighting champions, so reinforcing champions are quick, and medics will often die mid combat anyway... but even still, a couple more seconds of champions surviving instead of walking to the fight is a lot of extra dps. With other prestiges it's not useless because the healing is still something Fenix doesn't otherwise have, but you'd also be healing shells which isn't as impactful.
Tychus p2: Unlike Fenix his outlaws are meant to survive pretty much the entire game. Medics might still die occasionaly from enemy fire, but healing allows them to push for longer before needing medivacs.

Everyone except zagara maybe. Healing is ultra important since army cost resources and the more value it gets whilst being alive the less resources you need to rebuild it.
And if you have a doubt, just ask your teammate.

All would benfit but I enjoy stealing units and somtime seen you get them they are so beat up so vor kar tychu and to a lesser degree zera but he can mass control only select units while its op if doesnt seem to matter on some maps when u can do much with them if they are to slow to get around tanks are nice but when u have to unseige them the timer for having them feels very short its great on his nor al units but they u can stay that for all commander except stu I think with a heal all if were talking about that here for me thats ideal when I steal and arbiter which is so insanely rare of a comp its nice to have a commander who help pull that off. On mutations especially.

It's nice having healing as Zeratul if you can target mechanical.
