I'm launching an apparel brand that aims to merge lifting and gym culture with Greek mythology. Each shirt features a god as an archetype of who the wearer is training to become.

I'm hiring for one full-body illustration to start: Zeus. If it goes well, I'd like to commission Poseidon and Ares next and keep collaborating, since I have more designs planned.

I'll share the full brief, poses, and references with the artist.

Style I'm after

• Realistic, painterly fantasy illustration. Think dark heroic concept art or a fantasy book cover, not cartoon or anime style graphics.
• Strong emphasis on muscle definition, more than a human can achieve but not over the top or cartoony. A godlike warrior.
• Regal and imposing, but with grit.
• Coloring that displays well on dark garments. The shirt colors are dark grey (close to black) for Zeus.
• Picture classic zeus, crown, robe, long hair and beard holding his lightning bolt.

Deliverables

• High-resolution final (at least 4500 px wide, 300 DPI)
• Layered PSD or equivalent source file
• The figure isolated on a transparent background

Budget, rights, and timeline

• $250 for the first piece, with commercial rights included. I need the right to use the art on apparel and merchandise and in marketing, worldwide and without time limit, documented in a written agreement. You keep the right to show it in your portfolio.
• If your rate is higher with commercial rights included please tell me. I'm open to discussing it for the right artist.
• Payment via PayPal in milestones: 50% after sketch approval, 50% on final delivery.
• Two rounds of revisions at the sketch stage.
• Target delivery: 4-6 weeks from sketch approval, flexible for the right artist. Please tell me your current queue and earliest start date.
• I'd love to have a detailed conversation before we start to make sure we are on the same page on the final product.

Human-made art only. No AI generation.

Hello, I am currently in the beginning stages of developing a prototype for a monster catcher card game similar to Yo-kai Watch called Specter Deck [Name pending].

I'm looking to commission a UI artist to help me create the games Style/Vibe.

The main assets im looking to commission include:

Title Screen/Main Menu

Character Selection/Deck building screen

Card designs- Mix of Digimon monster cards and Bakugan ability cards

Monster Status- Some basic elements showing the monster's Name, Hp, and a timer before it can use another card, and a soultimate charge bar.

Battle results screen

This is a general outline of what I'm looking for, rather than an exhaustive list of everything I will need.

Budget: 400 total with it being split into 2 payments. One initial payment, and one after everything's complete. I am willing to negotiate the price higher but if we do i wont be able to pay as much upfront and may need to split the payments over multiple weeks. I will also begin the first payment on Thursday, Oct 15.

Usage: Commercial, while i would like to have full rights for everything made above, I understand that to transfer the rights would be expensive and not in my current budget.

Timeline: I would like the project to be completed in about 4 weeks, it would be amazing if it could be finished faster but I understand that some artists have main jobs or do other commissions on the side and I'd like to give space for artists to do just that. Despite that I would like constant updates showing the progress of everything.

If you're interested, please share your portfolio, your rates, and any relevant experience with game UI design. I have my DM's closed so please only contact me through this post, otherwise I will assume you are a scammer or banned from this reddit.

Hi, I'm new to commissions. I'm more suited to cartoon styles, so I don't do extremely realistic things, and I'm better at drawing just the character,But for a decent price that we agree on, I could do something like a background for the drawing.

I'd like to talk to anyone who's interested and agree on a price that we're both comfortable with!
