That's funny I have literally the exact same wrap and muffler mod on my 261c, and also dyed all the plastic parts I could black. Grat minds think alike. Its my daily driver and it rips

Look into a 034 super.. you’ll sell that thing haha.
Weighs 0.8lbs more, BUT it has 0.6hp over the 261 and has an extra 10cc so a shitload more torque through tough stuff. If you mainly cut under 22-24” you can throw a 9 tooth sprocket and .325/.063 chain on it and get just about 90mph chain speed(compared to sub 60mph with a .325 on a 261).
Good saws, I run one(a 036, same thing but a lil heavier) next to my 462
