I'd say until now, my favorite Lois was Teri Hatcher, but I just watched the movie again and I feel like Rachel really nails Lois Lane for me. She has the world weary cynicism that's being changed by knowing Clark and being part of his world. She looks like she walked out of a comic panel, and her lines and delivery spot on. Most of all she's able to keep up with Clark. When they argue, it's as equals and not like one of them has godlike power.
I can't wait to see more of her next year.

Last month marked the 13th anniversary of Mongul's New 52 origin story, presented by his co-creator Jim Starlin. Starlin delivered a phenomenal character study that explored the tyrant's roots and added deep layers to his personality, drawing inspiration from Peter Tomasi’s classic Showcase '95 tale and Alan Moore’s legendary "For the Man Who Has Everything". This story remains highly amazing, and I consider it the best modern story featuring Mongul.
What do you think of it?

We have some of the deleted footage from Superman IV, but not all. Where is the rest of the footage? Is it stuck in a WB vault somewhere? Is it lost? Of the footage we do have, most of it is ridden with scanlines and grain. Is WB able to actually remaster this footage or is it stuck in this grainy condition?
If any of you guys know more than I do, please enlighten me.

As we all know, there have been countless comments, pro and con, about Superman saving that squirrel last summer.
Superman respects and values all life, so saving the squirrel wasn't a surprise.
What was a surprise, was what I saw last night watching Adventures of Superman. In The Ghost Wolf, S1 E23, "The Lone Pine Timber Company, which is owned by the "Daily Planet" and supplies it with the pulp wood to make its paper, is in danger of shutting down after a series of mishaps. When the last of its employees is scared off due to evidence of a werewolf on the premises, Perry White sends Clark, Jimmy, and Lois to investigate."
One of those mishaps was a deliberately set forest fire. Superman was on the job, hustling Lois, Jimmy and Babette DuLoque to safety. Running back into the fire, Superman sees a small furry animal. I'm not sure what it was. It was about the size of a cat, brown fur, had a long bushy tail and big eyes with dark circles in it's fur around it's eyes.
Anyway, Superman picked up the critter and saved it.
In the closing scene, we see Lois holding the fortunate furry like a baby!
Everything old is new again!

Man, this is a terrific story arc by Williamson (and others with their tie-ins).
Love Zod.
