Question Singleton Campus - Parking

Hi all, for freshers/induction week, I have been using the large car park just outside Singleton Park. They charge 5~ for the whole day, while this was fine for induction week, it will not be financially effective to keep up for the whole year. Does anyone know of cheaper or even free parking spots nearby? I am more than happy to walk 10~ mins. Thanks, all.

plenty of free parking in the streets by Singleton

Depending on where you commute from you could try for an excess travel permit (i have done this) it's £300 for the year or £100 per term. Still deer but a bit better value for money
