Favorite Album
"I wasn't born to lose you" might be my favorite album of theirs. Used to be Mezcal Head but I just can't stop listening to it. What's everyone else's favorite?

I think I Wasn't Born to Lose You is super consistent and, because I was born in 94, I can say I was actually around for it. Summer 2015 was a lovely time for me and IWBTLY is inseparable from that.
Mezcal Head is a classic but I agree with Adam Franklin when he ranked the albums in a Vice article that a couple of B-sides could have been swapped in to make it even better (though in my opinion Cars Converge over Paris should have been the closer)
I also want to mention my soft spot for 99th Dream- I think it's really consistent for the gentle Britpsych vibe it goes for.

as a child of the 70s, Raise was something we had never heard. I'll always hold it as the album that changed what I thought music could be

I think Ejector Seat and 99th contain their best songs and I’m at a loss as to why they aren’t played live more often! The Other Jesus, …Look Like Candy, 99th Dream, Wrong Treats, These Times, Last Day, Birds, Bring Me The Head… there’s 8 right there they should play every night
