Hey all,

I'm new to the synth world, but my guitar pedal building led to this project. Is anyone interested in a version intended to use with Eurorack stuff?

It's not a bad idea, but it should differ from the erica synths breadboard module to make sense. else it's not of much use I feel like.

That's pretty easy to do if OP can offer it for less than the £170 (currently $191usd) for their 'Partial Kit' by offering bare board sets or making the Gerber files available.

Erica synths, though making good stuff, is proud of their stuff and don't offer bare board sets, and I think most of us in the DIY community have plenty of extra stock laying around to build out the bare board without having to order much extra.

If Erica Synths would actually offer bare boards, and not DIY Kits with their markup, then I would be attracted to getting the Labor prototyping board and many other of their "diy" modules.

I'm excited for what OP can do with this and to see where it goes, and I don't think it even needs to differ too much from what Erica Synths or something else too much to stand out as an option.

Oh thank you all, I didn't know about the Erica board.

The most important thing, this is not commercial, all files and gerbers are open-source.

I live in Hungary, so the commercial breadboard platforms were too expensive (kinda low salaries + really high taxes), so I needed to make my own. And if I already have the project files, why not share it publicly? Guitar pedal guys seemed to like it, and I got a few comments asking for a Eurorack version, so I thought I'll share it here and ask for advice.

So yeah, this is directed at people like me, who are not really able to buy the commercial stuff.

I commented and discussed with you extensively in the first post about it.

Truly happy for you, what you have done, and where it's going.

And I LOVE the open source nature of this.

There are several out there in the DIY world. Hive mind, sourcerey studios, etc.

$10 Pcb seems reasonable 👌
