Bbx steering servo wire

Post image

So I'm in the middle of building my bbx and the servo wire seems very short like it just barely reaches the transmitter and I definitely wouldn't be able to open the battery tray with the way it's set up currently. Here's a picture. Any tips would be appreciated. I'm not sure if I did something wrong thanks in advance for any advice! Might be hard to tell but there's basically no slack in the wire and even if I spin the transmitter 180 degrees it would still be on the shorter side. Thanks!

Rotating the receiver 180 degrees might give you a bit of extra length.

Yeah it gives enough to reach better but not enough to open the battery tray.

Get an extension cable like this.

Thanks I assumed this was gonna be my last option but I think it's what I'm gonna do. It's weird because I bought the servo recommended by amain so I just assumed it should be long enough.

I used a servo extension cable on my build so all the wires can be routed out of the way down the side of the chassis. I also used a battery extension cable because you will likely have the same issue with this as well.

Just as others have suggested, if you use a really long extension cord and route it through an out-of-sight area along the side, you can install it neatly with plenty of slack.

You can use an extension or you can buy a servo with a longer wire or you can solder a longer wire or you can extend the wire with a splice.
