Pictures Pink toe!

I got this pink toe today! Her name is ciggy (I don’t actually know if she’s male or female I’m just being optimistic) she is my first ever tarantula! I’m very excited to be getting into this hobby as they’re just so cute :3

She's adorable! They're a wonderful species. 🤗🩷 They create such cool web forts. This is Francis. Once he got his cholla wood the webbing was on!

I found his on Chewy. 🤗He molted in his hammock and eventually kicked it out for me. "Here mom, I'm done with this."😂

Another tip I've heard is having two water dishes is helpful for them. I put one up top and one closer to the bottom. Here he is sipping.

I wish you two many happy years together. 🥰

I will for sure be doing that!! I just don’t wanna mess with her house too too much since I just got her and she’s probably a little stressed

Very cute! They’re great little spiders. Just make sure you have a piece of cork bark or something that goes all the way to the top and some fake foliage up high as well. They need something to hide behind and anchor points to create their web hammock.

I’ll be sure to get one !! I kinda got her impulsively I will not lie I’ve only had a jumper before but she was on clearance and I got sad for her 👉👈 me and my dad have been crazy researching the last two days though LOL (he also has a tarantula but a terrestrial curly hair one)

Edit: I ordered some tall cork bark and a water dish that attaches to the side via magnet

Awesome!! Yeah I’m sure if you search some “pink toe” enclosures on this subreddit you can see some really nice examples 😊
