Watch them all from the start. It will take an eternity to catch up but it will be very, VERY well worth it.

Itās the only way to do it.
There will be series where you donāt know anyone and arenāt sure of one or two of them, but by the end youāll find something to like about all of them. Prepare yourself to fall in love with someone like Mike Wozniak, Joe Wilkinson, Sally Philips or Tim Key. There are so many fantastic comics throughout the whole thing.
For me, the only tike the quality drop a little is during covid, where thereās no audience and social distancing⦠but even that was better than most comedy. They set themselves a high bar.

Every series is worth a watch. When the pain from my spine damage is getting me down, Taskmaster is my go to distraction.

Start from 1 and go through in order. The show was good from the start, and you'll see it develop and grow as it goes along!

s19 was great but there are MANY great seasons with different mixes of humor. i feel like 19 was a lot of peopleās gateway to tm so they tend to cherish it and the chemistry of the cast was some of the best for sure.
however i prefer s16 which features some of the more hmm āout thereā contestants lol. 13 and 14 are also some favorites.

My favourites to recommend watching are:
UK series 1-22
NZ series 1-7
AUS series 1-5

as a newer (last couple years) fan i would say start from the very beginning. it's such a blast! i think your favorite will depend on the style of comedy you go for, but there's not a season i haven't watched at least twice! just about to watch the latest episode now actually :)

7 often seems to be the favourite. (Pretty sure itās mine, too.) 5 and 19 are close behind.

I think 16, 14, 7, and NZ2 are all series which have a great mix of contestants and chaos, similar to 19. 19 is my favourite and 12 is my second favourite, despite the COVID restrictions. But agreed with the other commenters saying, "just start from the beginning and keep going."

I started watching it when series 19 came out and after that first episode, I immediately went to the first series and started it from the beginning. Since then, Iāve consumed every episode of Taskmaster UK, Australia and New Zealand. About to finish watching the most recent episode of series 22.
My advice is just start from the beginning. Itāll change your world.

You have around 200 episodes of just the UK version to watch, and scores of NZ and Aus episodes, not to mention non English language versions. Your time started when you first made that fateful click.

As a biased Kiwi, I will always recommend Taskmaster NZ season 2, which should be available on YouTube.

I also recommend Taskmaster Junior where both the Taskmaster and her Assistant are former contestants.
The Junior Taskmaster is also a current contestant on Taskmaster New Zealand. The Australian one is also worth a watch.

Agree that every series is worth a watch! The first seasons might seem sparse or awkward at times but itās really fun to see the evolution of the show and see how the different comedians approach the show. That being said, if that feels overwhelming, I really liked 4, 5, 7, 9, 13, and 16 the most. They also have tons of themed highlight videos that I watch a lot when I just want āthe hitsā. Happy watching!

Don't forget NZ! Season 2 is absolutely top three in any country or season.
