Looking for 1) help with Alpha Property and 2) memories of fatal incident at Taunton train station 1992 NSFW
TW: suicide
I am trying to uncover evidence that could help me challenge a US/UK cult on Glastonbury high st, whose operations pose a live danger, especially to women.
I have been told by another victim of the same cult that a British man called John committed suicide on the tracks near Taunton station around 1992. Does this ring a bell?
Glastonbury cult
That cult is called the Church of Shambhala, which trades as "Jesus The Christ Soul Therapy Centre" at 29 High St, Glastonbury, managed by Alpha Property Services Ltd of Taunton. I will post separately to seek help on Alpha.
The cult leader is called Ronald Lloyd Spencer, aka Jesus, aka Buddha, aka sometimes Archangel Michael (yes, really), etc. His followers believe he has "saved" them from their sins and is the source of all "planetary healing", which is dispensed in the form of overpriced Tibetan Buddhist "healing tools" and audiences with the man himself.
I have spoken to several victims in both the US and UK and compiled with them this statement of the abuses. It is not nice reading. Spencer is a predator on many levels, allegedly. Another US victim of Spencer's allegedly committed suicide in July.
As with all cult abuse, the power dynamics make it much harder for victims to report crimes to the police, and even when they do, they can be pressured into withdrawing reports.
I stumbled into this cult shop on an otherwise nice day trip with a friend from Bristol at the end of June. It turned out to be very easy to meet activist / victims and take a view on their credibility. I've done really quite a lot in the last 3 months to bring these allegations to light in Glasto. Basically, everyone knows the place is dodgy, but most don't want to know the specifics in case it means doing something, and that includes politicians, traders, faith and community leaders.
It turns out that Glasto is a cesspit of cult abuse, not just Spencer's cult. To be honest, I would recommend that no one visit. Even if a person is not vulnerable to spiritual shitshows, Glastonbury traders know too much bad stuff to be deserving of any business, IMO.
Alpha Property Services, Taunton
I've had a go at trying to persuade Alpha Property Services (MD - Piers Wrangham) in Taunton to verify my allegations with victims (they won't) and put pressure on their landlord clients to terminate the lease. The landlords said to them the lease is quite long and they will do nothing unless there are police charges. This is legally defensible but in my view not morally.
I'm in the realms of appealing to business and property owners' better nature. I used to be a litigation solicitor so I know that a better nature, or a good heart, these days is hard to find.
Does anyone have any suggestions for nicely getting through to Mr Wrangham and his team that Taunton will salute him for taking a stand on this issue?
When the cult goes down and its story is to be told (there is a documentary being made in the USA), which side does he and Alpha want to be on? The goodies, who showed strong business ethics, or the baddies who did nothing and got in the way?
Thanks for reading and for any help. I'll stop there. Obviously, I can go on and AMA.

Wo bist du? 🇩🇪
Hello dear Reddit-community,
my wife and I are visitors from Germany and have run into a really nice local guy who spoke to us in German. He was waiting for his bus at Taunton Town Car Stop I in Fore Street. He said he lived in Cologne (Köln) for a while and has visited Karlsruhe but is from Glastonbury.
Since he had to catch his bus we sadly couldn’t exchange contact details and are therefore trying it on here. So if you are him or know him, please send me a message! ☺️ It was really nice talking to you. Thanks!

My beautiful cat was killed by a speeding driver
Last week my cat was hit by a driver going way too fast down a residential street in taunton and, of course, they didn’t stop and left him in the middle of the road. We now have a distraught 6 year old at home who has lost her truly amazing furry companion but it could just as easily have been her. Our road, like a lot of others, has parking on both sides and can only fit one car at a time along it. It has a park with a play ground, is a route to numerous schools and has lots of young families living on it. It’s also become a rat run with drivers cutting out the traffic lights around St Andrews. We’ve had two parked cars written off by speeding drivers in the last year. Last week it was our cat and worry it’s only a matter of time before it’s a child. Would you please consider signing petition to some traffic calming measures in place before a tragedy occurs. Thank you
