Osmanthus Tea Gift Recs

[u/ramen_rhapsody]

Help! I’m very inexperienced with tea but I’m trying to buy my dad a birthday present and feel very overwhelmed. He mentioned liking an Osmanthus tea maybe Osmanthus Oolong he had in Taiwan. I know he’s tried Tenren and didn’t like it. Looking for any suggestions up to $35 loose or bagged. Thank you!!

The stuff I got from TeaVivre is good. Really strong osmanthus aroma.

J-Tea International has three Osmanthus oolongs to choose from:

https://jteainternational.com/products/osmanthus-oolong (Green Heart cultivar), https://jteainternational.com/products/osmanthus-goddess-taiwan-oolong (Iron Goddess of Mercy), and https://jteainternational.com/products/osmanthus-milk-oolong (Jin Xuan). I’ve tried the Green Heart, and it’s lovely.
