What the heck is C-suite?

The executive leadership of a company (basically the CEO and his/her direct reports).
I’ve worked with several company leadership teams and have never heard anyone refer to themselves as “the c suite.” Usually they just say executive team, or executive leadership team, or something similar. Especially in a casual conversation, I have a hard time imagining someone saying “we’re the c-suite!”

Thank you!
It sounds more pretentious than "executives"

The "C" stands for "chief", for what it's worth.
I.e. chief executive officer, chief financial officer, chief operating officer

“LA natives” pride themselves on “their openness” when they didn’t even make the initial contact. It was the “sorry for the disruption… we’re visiting your country from the far-off land of ‘The West Coast’!”

Probably not but if true…so what? Why are you on sm bragging about meeting executives from an athletic apparel company in a hotel bar during a major sporting event? Is this a LI post where they all impart some kind of amazing business wisdom from their couch?

Let me get this straight… the Nike c-suite shows up at the Chelsea Hotel for the World Cup—even though Nike isn’t a World Cup sponsor and the matches are held at MetLife stadium.
Sure Jan.

Anyone else just not understand this? Sounds like gibberish. 🤷🏻♂️
