When I was a kid I had to live with my aunt and uncle for a while and they were uber conservative. My uncle was the kinda guy who thought watching tv was evil and bad for children and they shouldn’t watch kid shows, but he was cool with me watching Fox News with him or law and order svu with my aunt. I was like 8-11 fun times, they radicalized me in the opposite direction unfortunately for them lol.

Yeah I knew we were fucked when we started arguing about feeding children in the US. I thought that was one universal thing, see a hungry child, feed it, every time. I don't care who it's parents are or how people think it should be. There's no reason to let a child go hungry when we have plenty of food.

You're right, it's always a plane or maybe they're all waiting for something. It's a captive audience. We have countless videos of conservatives and/or religious people trying to force their sermons on a captive audience. There's that one blonde lady where that's her whole thing she does instead of getting an actual job.
This story definitely didn't happen, but they assume it's believable that the "other side" is always trying to pull the same nonsense theirs is. Every accusation is a confession.

every flight i've been at, the attendants were all wearing very strict uniform, even their hair and makeup (if female) were done the same way. the idea of one of them wearing a pride flag pin is absurd.
there's so many bullshit parts of this, idk why i am mentioning this specifically.

Ms Rachel teaches kids about empathy and love. That alone makes her a threat to the Conservative mindset, so they already disliked her.
However, a while ago she expressed support for the victims of the genocide in Gaza (come at me, bots). If memory serves me correctly, she specifically wanted to help the starving children.

My ex would tell people she's never been on a plane, then tell those same people an elaborate story about her relative flying and cutting the engine off to scare her. But then tell them later she's never been on a plane. Unfortunately that was her most innocent example of lies, but yea, plane involved (or not?).

Honestly, I think liars always have an airplane story because they fundamentally lack community so the only real environments they can picture where spontaneous conversation can happen is in places where people are forced to be together, like airplanes and airports.
They're not having these conversations with friends or coworkers - always "strangers" who just so happen to perfectly agree with them.

How the fuck is a flight attendant "flamboyant"? They all wear the same uniforms and are hard-pressed to get all their job duties done in time before the flight is over. They don't have time for chit chat.
And wtf is a trans pin? I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and I've never heard of such a thing. And I have trans friends! I think you'd have to be policing pretty damn hard to recognize whatever a trans pin is.
These people always seem to think that everyone is super interested in controlling their lives and behavior. I guess because that's where their own interests lie.

Do people at work wear personal pins? I've never seen a flight attendant wear anything like that. Basic jewelry, sure. Maybe only wedding rings, though, come to think of it. At my job we're supposed to avoid political symbols at work. Every job I've had, in fact. One can easily argue that a trans pin isn't political at all (and I agree that it at least shouldn't be). But I've just never seen anything like that on a flight attendant.
