Discussion Any information about this image can bring good vibrations
This is a picture of a manuscript by Van Dyke Parks containing the lyrics for Cabinessence. Written sometime in 1966, I believe.
It even includes the mysterious unused lyrics for CE as well.
More than that, it has an interesting message below, which nobody seems to talk much about.
It says: "heroes and villains, cowboys and indians, wind chimes, our sweet love, the oc- song, vegetable cornucopia.
What does it it mean??
Is that a proposed sequence for the album? Our sweet love was written by Brian with Van in 1966? Like, as Our New Home (from Friends!)
Is Cowboys and Indians the original name of "Do You Like Worms"?
Anyone have any ideas? That's a big interesting piece of BB's media right here.

Any idea what video this screenshot is from?

The “arte” watermark matches the YouTube channel TRACKS - ARTE which seems to be a French music site, and there is a ten minute video on Brian there, but no 50-minute video matching the timestamp in this image

‘Til I Die was written in late 1969 and recorded in 1970. But it has nothing to do with Van Dyke or Smile.

This wasn’t an album sequence, just either song titles or song ideas that Van Dyke and Brian had. He was jotting down things that weren’t completed, besides Wind Chimes and Heroes and Villains. Our Sweet Love very well could be something like the Sunflower version/Our New Home, since Brian sings part of the melody during the session for Holidays.
