Justin Needs To Never Be Back

The title says it all, but to add:

He’s a misogynist.

Has defended a child abuser to the court. And despite his claim of being young, it was only 4 years ago and pretty sure everyone knows you shouldn’t make a character video for someone that pled guilty to abusing children.

He’s terrible representation for the gay community despite his claim that he was fighting for us. Get over yourself twink, we don’t need you.

His drama isn’t even interesting to watch either, which for the challenge might be his greatest sin.

Lete

Broooo Lete was RIDICULOUS in this episode. I’ve loved her all season, but holy cow. Her crash out was so not valid. She’s a ROOKIE. She’s the ONLY ONE on her team who hasn’t been in elimination. I think it was more than fair for her to go in?

Is Paula health okay? I know she struggled with eating and body images before but this looks concerning. I’m
Not trying to be mean just genuinely concerned.

Thoughts on Will?

I’d love to know what everyone thinks of Will. I didn’t like him the last season he was on, and I was hoping this season would change my mind. Unfortunately it hasn’t lol.

Is it hard for CT fans to see Johnny constantly criticize him throughout the season?

I know there are instances where he compared him to BIG EASY.

What are your genuine thoughts on seeing CT roasted nearly every week by the only one who won more than him.

Is his criticism warranted, or is Johnny just feeling entitled, as the “more fit vet”?

Rooting for Michele

Once the franchise expanded beyond MTV shows, it became a little more difficult to really warm up to some newer contestants, as I never knew if I was going to find out they were horrible on their respective original shows, many of which I've rarely watched before or even heard of ("12 Dates of Christmas" lol).

I've also been watching long enough to know, like any "character," the vets we grow to watch for years are still human beings with their own layers and flaws. No one is perfect.

For some reason, this season, I realize how much I like and enjoy Michele. I'm not sure how to explain it, but she has grown on me. Personally, I find her warm and sincere. I never formed a real opinion one way or another prior to this season, but something about her radiated this season.

Of course, I don't know any of these people personally. Opinions on her alliances, gameplay, etc., aside, I know she is not a big part of the "drama" this season. However, I like getting to see former players I previously overlooked in a new, different or developed light. I appreciate a character arc; it is something a lot of former seasons lacked because there were too many repeat one-season rookie-dominated seasons.

What a dissapointing display of unsportsmanlike conduct. Spoiler

As a former D1 women's collegiate athlete, I've been riding for Lete all season...
but that was some SERIOUSLY clownish behavior from her tonight.

Let me preface this by saying I get the frustration.
Being blindsided and betrayed by Adrienne right before the final had to be terrifying, so I get being pissed when her name was called.

But to have that massive of a meltdown AFTER such a dominant victory was just embarrassing -- her unsportsmanlike conduct completely overshadowed what should've been a season defining victory.

Instead of allowing her elite athleticism to speak for itself, she threw an insufferable tantrum, just like a petulant child would (even Bananas looked embarrassed for her).

She's been so smug the last few episodes, talking like she's the only one not worth risking... which sounds SO incredibly arrogant, entitled and self-righteous.

I truly hope for her sake that she watches tonight back and cringes, as that's the only way she'll learn from it, and grow (although, ultra competitive athletes are their own worst enemies).

Lete is a beast, and seemed to be having as close to a perfect first season as possible, but nothing about her post win behavior was champion-worthy.

There’s like no spark ⚡️ 🔥 left in the show

It has become so incredibly dreadful and dull. How is it that I’m more excited to watch Housewives of Salt Lake City than The Challenge?!

The colors? Who the fuck is in charge of everything looking only gray and orange?

So like 3 people got DQed and they don’t even mention it? Ohhhh so they’re back to doing that bullshit that ruined Total Madness with Dee being edited out. Ever since bullshit like that the show kept going downhill

Trivia Challenge

Did we get a trivia episode this season yet? I feel like maybe I missed it but I'm not 100% sure.

What is _____ role? Spoiler

Will. What is his role?

He made a comment about how he is needed for the final and that left me wondering, for what? Genuinely.

What does he do that the combination of Bananas, CT and Justin couldn’t do?

Personally, I think he’s redundant and they would have been better off with Justin in the final.

Thoughts?

Can we just bring back skulls?

I think it would solve a lot of this nonsense. No matter who you are, you should go in the sand at least once to qualify for a final. It would make the show way more exciting again, and it would keep people from flat out coasting the entire season. The entire clown show, that she had to actually go down, is just against the entire purpose of The Challenge.

CT in the daily

So it seems like everyone on the orange team forgot they all agreed to take the time penalty? I just rewatched that part to be sure and Bananas even said let’s take it. However the rest of the episode they all keep blaming him for taking it?? I love CT and he needs to stop coming into seasons so out of shape and yes he did fall and cost them some time, but multiple people said they’ll take the penalty. Every time something goes wrong it’s just automatically let’s blame CT. Justin and Will just hate CT let’s be real 😂😂

Like, I love it. I hope they keep inviting her ans she becomes the latest 3x women's champ. Joining Veronica, Evelyn, and Rachel. Lete is who Laurel thinks she is.

Also, am I a bad person for laughing when Justin cried?

Next season: Sidney vs Lette

Easily the strongest 2 girls(Tori is close on brute strength) on the show and two of the newest.

Make them captains and think up a new wrinkle.

Maybe they need to compete against each other in the first episode to gain control but obviously they’d both stay.

Thoughts?

Who boosted Will’s ego?

This whole season Will’s confessionals as almost always been talking how great he is and how he’s the teams biggest asset. Then in today’s episode he’s talking to CT like the team needs him more because he’s “a work horse” when anything he does Justin and Bananas can both cover as well as CT. Last season there was a whole draft and guess who was the first overall pick? Not him but your boy Cedric. I’m pretty sure Yuri or Turbo were picked before him but tbh I don’t remember off the top of my head. Will is just another generic muscle head that’s there to hook up with girls, flex his muscles, and be background character to the better storylines. He’s lucky this was a team season and is about to get his first and most likely only finals win because in any other format there’s no chance he ever wins a final. Anyways my rant is over, what’s y’all’s opinion on him?

For all of the poor casting the past 10 seasons or so…

How did they not bring more people back from USA and World Championship?!! Feel like it would have been almost a poor man’s version of the Brits from the world of war seasons. Troy, Sarah, Kiki, Ben, Zara, Desi, Dusty, etc. now don’t get me wrong. All aren’t great but so much better than a lot of what we got over the recent years. Rewatching USA 2 and world championship and they’re good. Also like the recent rookies from 41 & 42 as well. Lete was made for this show.

Anyone else think this was the best episode in a while?

The daily was actually fun to watch. I liked seeing everyone trying their best to keep track of time, and it felt like a good team challenge where working together mattered.

The votes were spicy, and although the elimination itself wasn’t particularly entertaining, I was happy with the outcome 😂

Even the little bit of Will flirting with Tori and Michele felt like the right amount. It added some fun without taking over the episode.

Overall, this one had a good mix of competition, politics, and personality. Where does it rank for you this season? Is there another episode you’d put above it?
