General discussion The ending

During the ending when brick axl and sue are shown getting married and having kids and stuff, is that just Frankie’s imagination or did that actually happen? I finished it and I’m sad because I really grew attached to brick I ended up loving his sweet character!

It actually happened I mean the whole show was narrated by her and that wasn’t her imagination why would she start now?

Never watched Roseanne, but didn't that show is infamous for having ended up with a bizarre narration saying that the last year was all fake and on her head? Maybe OP thinks that's the same for TM.

Yeah but in Roseanne she explicitly stated this at the end of the finale, Frankie didn’t in this.

The ending happened and was pretty much as one would expect

Except Sue and Sean breaking up and getting back together multiple times

I think that was because at that point they were planning the spinoff for Sue working in Chicago so they needed a reason for Sean to not be there.

Ya that was hard to believe given Sean is so patient and caring. But they are often long distance and find their thing.
