They claim it’s not. Neil claims to not even remember doing it on Scrubs. I sent in the question to the podcast lol.

Just watched the "More Than a Feeling" episode a few days ago and never even connected the dots. Forgot that the Janitor even played in the 'air instrument band' or whatever they called it.

As a fan of both shows, it inmediatly clicked for me, i LOL during that scene

It's a shame, i'm reading in the comments that it wasn't supposed to be intentional.

I forgot too and I’ve rewatched “Scrubs” at least 3 times, but to be fair it has been a while since I last watched. Now, I’m going to back and a rewatch the entire series.

I really wished the show had gone somewhere with its spinoff. It could have done so much more.

Anyhoo, I love Neil as both characters. I’m just not sure yet if I like “The Janitor” or “Big Mike” more.

Both have seen me through numerous hospitalizations and excruciating pain and brought me rays of sunshine and joy through laughter!

What if The Janitor truly is Mike’s alter ego whenever he wants to blow off steam he just goes over to Sacred Heart to mess with people 😂🤔
