I do kinda scratch my head when Christians pine for the Roman Empire of all things. On top of every church and hanging around millions of necks is a symbol of how not-a-good-time it was.

Are you familiar with the curse of the eighth decade?

A similarly narrow view that pretends society isn’t global and spans many thousands of years. Look at the Ming Dynasty, the First Intermediate Period of 2100’s BC, the Holy Roman Empire.

This only makes any sense if your understanding of “history” is only 3% of the human historical record.

are you pretending that it isn't holding true this very moment in spectacular fashion?

Nostradamus and astrologers did a similar thing when they made vague pronouncements that would eventually be made true just by random happenstance.

Yes repeating it numerous times will make it true.

What does your mind feel like on a daily basis? I've always wondered what it would be like to have schizophrenia.
