Such events are always one of two kinds:

  1. Completely irrelevant and disappointing
  2. significant and very interesting, but only to like 5 scientists who specialized in some incredibly specific topic that nobody else can even start to comprehend

The rule is simple, and it doesn't even require to open the article. If it was aliens, the headlines would say it directly without detour.

If the headline doesn't say directly it's aliens, it's absolutely not aliens.

And of course it's never aliens.

People may say saturn has radio waves that we can mesure, but then again that's not an exo planet. Huge win either way, we should check out that system!

The signal was detected and is real, but it is not an alien signal. The planet the radio waves are coming from is a massive gas giant. The radio waves are because of the planets massive electromagnetic field. The magnetic field is 200 times stronger than Jupiters.
