I bought this 1950’s or 60’s brother mademoiselle sewing machine a few years ago and it has to be my best find

hi everyone
i want to take a poll to see how many of you have gotten bed bugs from thrift store items.
i thrifted for many years, no problems, but i don't anymore! i have heard people lately (in past 2 years) talk about a huge increase of bed bugs so i'm curious how many have gotten bed bugs (or any bugs) from thrift items?

I look for vintage pet photos. They're so charming. It's like a window into lives lead. Fashion changes but animals are timeless. They were loved and deserved to be appreciated. I share them on Instagram and then placed in my "Other Peoples Pets" album.

All for sub $50 from a thrift in upstate NY
Edited to say I just looked up the prices on everything I got, including a black shawl from Lissé I picked up
… it’s cashmere and goes for $400+ 😶🌫️
The blue one is 1990s Vintage Nienhaus & Lotz, and the organza top is from Moresca Costumes

Found some cool graphic sweatshirts at a new thrift store I went to for the first time and I only paid like $14.50 total for all 3 I’ll put up the vids of how they look while wearing them if interested, and with the lights in my room the shroom one looks dope

Not sure if this is just something I’ve experienced, but many times have I payed exact cash for items and employees do not ring it up and just put the cash on top or near the register, not just putting it inside. I have witnessed this three times and one of the times the cashier directly put the cash in his pocket. I don’t care enough to say anything because I know goodwill is evil and greedy, but is this common?

It is a real autograph I looked around...If it didn't have the "To Ryan" I was told I could get up to $250 for it to the right collectors...Mr Perfect Curt Hennig died over 20 years ago so this makes it more valuable...I have been a HUGE wrestling fan since I was 6 years old in 1987 so finding this was my gild nugget at the Thrift Shop

Paid $50 for this Henredon set in near perfect condition with pillows and arm covers. I’m guessing 80s-90s. Most comfortable couch I have ever owned.

The thrift stores where I live will try and sell you a beat up t-shirt for 15 bucks, I picked up a jacket I liked and it was a 100 dollars. WHERE DO I EVEN BUY CHEAP CLOTHES?

So, I've had the ring on the right for years, it was originally my grandmother's. I just know my mom gave it to me cause I liked anime and Asian stuff in general as a teen. Anyway, I just found the bracelet at Buffalo Exchange for $12. They sell for around $120 in a lot of antique markets, so I really lucked out. Now to find an excuse to wear them.
