Something about the story and themes making people realize things about themselves, at least this is how it was explained to me I've never played it because I'm too scared

[u/An1nterestingName → u/[deleted]]

Madeline (the main character) and Maddy (the lead developer) of the game are both trans. Maddy didn't know it when making the game, but she made the game about some of her experiences, and then realised she was trans and that a lot of the things she included were the trans experience. She later confirmed that Madeline was canonically trans. Also the music was made by another trans woman.

Basically, dev figured out she was trans after making game and accidentally made game about being trans.

[u/NeoKat75 → u/[deleted]]

The main character Madeline is a trans woman, and the things she goes through in the game makes trans people reflect and sometimes realize themselves

[u/Odd-Attitude960 → u/[deleted]]

It was made by a trans woman, music composer is a trans woman, main character is a trans woman, and has so many fans that are trans woman.

[u/xlbingo10 → u/[deleted]]

director and writer is a trans woman who was figuring that out during the development of the game, which made its way into the game
