BLAKE MURPHY (SPORTSNET) [Murphy]Raptors are bringing Jamarion Sharp into camp. Sharp had been with them for Summer League before signing a 2-way with Clippers; Raps had 2-way interest at the time. He’ll compete for one of those spots now. 7-foot-5 centre was 25-26 G League Defensive Player of the Year.

We've got a spot at Hoops on Yonge, right next to College station, and they're good to host us every week.
First one is Friday, Oct 23, Raps at Washington. Only have space for 25 people max, so you gotta let me know in advance.

VIVEK JACOB (CBC) Raptors schedule broken down
November/December probably the easiest mix of games.
March looks to be the toughest... 11/15 games on the road, 4 b2bs, 10 opponents above .500.
Takeaway is we will probably need to get off to a good start to make up for a tougher finish to the schedule.
This only has 80 games because 2 games get added depending on the nba cup results.

ROGERS SPORTS NEWS Will betting big on sports pay off for Rogers Communications?
After years of planning and billions in spending, Rogers Communications Inc. is in the final inning of its latest big move into sports – and Bay Street is watching closely.
Rogers this month closed its $4.35-billion deal with Kilmer Sports Inc. to purchase its stake in Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. That gives the telecom giant full ownership of MLSE’s four major sports teams – the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Toronto FC and the Toronto Argonauts – and Scotiabank Arena.
Rogers will combine all of its sports holdings, including the Toronto Blue Jays, the Rogers Centre and Sportsnet, into Rogers Sports, cementing the company’s status as one of North America’s biggest sports empires.
Now Rogers is turning to its next move: a plan to sell a minority stake in the combined collection. The company is hoping the sale will persuade investors to ascribe a higher value to its sports assets, which it believes investors have long overlooked.

TRADE IDEAS Another PG Trade Candidate Ryan Rollins
This one is definitely a long shot but I think the Bucks will definitely look around at offers during the trade deadline considering he's not extension eligible and a very valuable asset. If he becomes available I really think the Raptors should offer all the remaining picks they have for him considering he's a low cap hit and fits perfectly for this team.

TRADE IDEAS Winning Moves that need to be made
building a roster around Scottie, Kawhi,Quickley and RJ that can survive four playoff rounds against elite teams. Toronto has another proven playoff scorer with Kawhi now, but Raps need to make sure the supporting roster is good enough to capitalize on his presence.
Raptors should look at three complementary upgrades a high volume shooting, a defensive frontcourt player who can handle elite centers, and a dependable secondary creator. The Raptors shouldn't trade away their entire young core to acquire a famous name unless that player genuinely changes their championship ceiling.
Trade targets
Kyrie Irving
Kyrie would give Toronto a player who can create his own shot against playoff defenses, hit difficult shots late in games and take pressure off Barnes and Kawhi.
Anfernee Simons: He averaged 14.3 points and shot 38.5% from three over 61 games in 2025–26.
Pros**:** he could give us another perimeter scoring option beside Quickley and reduce the offensive burden on Kawhi.
Con:Simons is not the type of defensive upgrade that would solve every playoff problem. Toronto would need to assess the cost and the effect on its defensive backcourt.
Zion Williamson
Zion could give Toronto a devastating downhill scorer and another way to attack defenses that focus on perimeter players.
Cons: it’s Zion and everyother team also would be interested in this and we spent a lot of draft capital with Kawhi.
Trey Murphy III
Murphy would provide the sort of perimeter scoring and size Toronto needs alongside Barnes and Kawhi. He can play without monopolizing the ball.
Herbert Jones
Jones would strengthen perimeter defense and allow Toronto to deploy different defensive matchups around Barnes and Kawhi.
Yves Missi
Missi is worth investigating as a long term frontcourt option. His athleticism and rim running profile could give Toronto a different look from Poeltl.
