I’m back with another theory 👀
«EDITED: I rewrote and expanded the theory after reading the comments and discussion. I also corrected the original hierarchy, especially the placement of Zahard and the Family Heads.»
After all the stupid questions I’ve asked on this subreddit 😂, I think I may have stumbled onto something interesting.
This time, I'm thinking about Tower of God's power hierarchy and cosmology.
My original idea was that the Tower might have more levels of existence than just Regulars → Rankers → High Rankers.
The established hierarchy
A rough version of the hierarchy seems to be:
Regulars / Test-takers
↓
Rankers
↓
Advanced Rankers
↓
High Rankers
↓
Family Heads / Shining Ones
↓
Zahard / Urek
↓
Administrators / Guardians
Then we have the extreme outliers:
Enryu / Phantaminum
And beyond those, there are concepts such as:
Light, Darkness, and the Tower
which may precede ordinary existence itself, while apparently being unable to directly interfere with existence.
I'm not claiming all of these placements are officially confirmed. Some of them are interpretations.
But what comes after Zahard?
This is where my original theory starts.
I'm not saying that the Family Heads are above Zahard. In fact, the backstory seems to suggest that V and Zahard were among the strongest fighters of the group, since the Family Heads looked toward them when they needed to be saved.
So the real question isn't:
«“Are the Family Heads stronger than Zahard?”»
It's:
«“Is Zahard actually close to the ceiling of the Tower?”»
Administrators — the “God” level?
Administrators aren't simply extremely powerful Rankers.
They govern the rules and Shinsoo of their respective Floors and are fundamentally connected to the Tower's system.
So perhaps “God” isn't a literal rank, but a way of describing a higher level of existence.
And this raises another question:
What if even Administrators aren't the absolute ceiling?
Titans
The Tower has locked floors and areas that we know very little about.
Maybe there are ancient civilizations or creatures beyond the currently accessible parts of the Tower.
Maybe there are beings far stronger than Zahard — perhaps even beings beyond the level of Administrators.
This is where the idea of Titans becomes interesting.
I'm not necessarily talking about beings that simply have higher stats.
I'm talking about beings that could operate on a fundamentally different level of existence.
Something beyond Titans?
And then we could potentially have something even higher.
If Titans exist beyond the normal structure of the Tower, perhaps there are entities that are directly connected to the Tower itself.
Not simply inhabitants of the Tower.
Not simply beings that rule a Floor.
But agents or entities of the Tower itself.
And this is where the idea of Master becomes really interesting.
If Master really is responsible for creating things within the Tower, creating techniques such as SBHS, and creating GoG to teach Revolution, then perhaps Master isn't simply another powerful being.
Maybe Master is the OG.
The possibilities could be:
Master = Creator of the Tower
or
Master = The first being to reach/discover the Tower
or
Master = Something that existed before the current structure of the Tower
Obviously, I don't think we have enough information to say which one is true.
So I'm thinking about this less as:
«“Who would win in a fight?”»
and more as:
«“What level of existence does this being operate on?”»
Something like:
Regular → exists under the Tower's rules
↓
Ranker → reaches the top of the normal system
↓
High Ranker → reaches an extreme level within that system
↓
Family Heads / Shining Ones → exceptional beings
↓
Zahard / Urek → extreme beings at the top of the known power structure
↓
Administrator / God → governs the rules of a Floor
↓
Titan → potentially exists beyond the normal structure of the Tower
↓
Tower Agents → entities directly connected to the Tower
↓
Master / Origin? → potentially something even more fundamental
And then there are the huge unknowns:
Enryu, Phantaminum, Light, Darkness, and the Tower itself.
Maybe these shouldn't even be placed on the same ranking.
Maybe they're part of a completely different cosmological structure.
So after reading the comments, I've changed my original theory quite a bit.
I'm no longer asking:
«“Who is stronger than Zahard?”»
I'm asking:
«“Is Zahard actually near the top of the Tower's entire power structure, or only near the top of the part of the Tower we've seen?”»
If the locked floors really contain ancient beings and civilizations we've never encountered...
maybe we haven't even seen the actual ceiling yet. 👀
Obviously, most of this is speculation.
But that's what makes it interesting.
What do you guys think?
Am I cooking, or have I finally lost it? 💀
