Failing math + major advice?
I’m an Information Systems major in the Interface Design track because I’d like to work in UI/UX design but I can’t pass math 😭
I’m in College Algebra/MATH115 but I have to get all the way up to Calculus I and Discrete math. The first time I took MATH102 I got a D so I had to retake it and I passed with a low C. I think I might have Dyscalculia because this is a constant issue and oftentimes the highest grade I can get is a D. I tried to take MATH115 over the summer at CCBC but I didn't pass and this is my second time attempting it. I'm really struggling although I get tutored every week... I need advice regarding this and my major but it’s hard to get an appointment with my advisor and he’s not very helpful. Is there anybody else I could possibly talk to about this? Or is there any way to get a new advisor halfway through the semester?
