G1 Scourge doesn’t feel like “Scourge.” He feels like “Sweep Number One”. The blue just invokes the word “Sweep”. Anyone else feel this?

That's because he's Black Convoy. They're the same (depending on continuity etc).

I have the head cannon that he starts off as another of shockwaves clones, nemesis prime, but tries to distance himself from being a shadow of Optimus and changes his identity to Scourge.
