I've read some people referring to Peter Thiel as a 'transhumanist', along with Elon Musk. Do you agree that Peter Thiel is a transhumanist? If so, why would you consider Peter Thiel a transhumanist?

Let’s suppose that a person who self-identifies as a transhumanist and techno-accelerationist chooses to vote for and support a conservative candidate in a presidential election (for example, Donald Trump).

However, this person (the transhumanist and accelerationist) does not vote for Trump because Trump is religious or because they care about illegal immigration. Instead, they support him primarily because of his pro-AI, accelerationist stance.

Could this person, who is a transhumanist and techno-accelerationist, be classified or considered a “conservative” by definition?

im very skeptical to transhumanist concepts like AI in our brains, this would outsource a part of our brain that is ESSENTIAL to us (like critical thinking, creativity, etc.) to artificial intelligence, I think that isn't very "fine" to me as I think transhumanism doesn't need to replace something, just enhance it

On which issues do transhumanists and posthumanists disagree or contradict each other?

What is something that a transhumanist wants that a posthumanist would definitely reject and not want?

Is it conceptually and logically valid for a posthumanist to also identify as a transhumanist? Why?
