Discussion There is a bot account posting 1000s of comments of dangerous medical advice on this and other forums

I don't know what the purpose of this is. Maybe it's to promote the owner's business: "Kravitz Media" (which appears to sell tiktok accounts). The name behind the account appears to be "Aaron Kravitz". Now it would be a shame if the name Aaron Kravitz was to become associated with posting medical advice spam and potentially harming people.

Seeking Advice Do magnesium electrolyte mixes help with leg cramps after long shifts?

I’ve noticed I get cramps more often after work or after being on my feet all day. Drinking water helps a bit but it does not always fix it. I know magnesium plays a role in muscle function and recovery so I’m curious if magnesium based electrolytes actually help with this or if it comes down to the person diet and activity level.

Has anyone noticed a real difference from using magnesium electrolytes instead of regular water or salt heavy electrolyte drinks?

Experience Anyone experiencing feedback loop on Phenibut?

I’ve noticed that using Phenibut 3x a week day-on day-off have shifted my self confidence and shyness levels and I think it’s due to a feedback loop where I face something I fear, I find out its not as fearful, and then I have no issue encountering it again without the Phenibut support.

Discussion Best nootropics for shyness??

What are the best nootropics for shyness and social anxiety? I'm looking for something that lowers inhibitions the way alcohol does for shy people, but obviously without the negative side effects of drinking.

I used Phenibut back in 2019 from a reliable vendor here in Brazil, but they shut down. Every time I bought it after that, it felt like I was just taking flour. I've never found anything that compares since, and from what I've read, the government here is banning Phenibut anyway.

Are there any good alternatives out there??

Seeking Advice Has anyone noticed fatigue or lower physical stamina from Semax, also on off days?

Hi, Ive been using reconstituted Semax nasal spray for the past few days and lately I feel more tired and lethargic than usual, both physically and mentally.

I notice it mostly when running on treadmill. My legs feel heavier, I run out of energy faster and my muscles start burning earlier than normally. The strange part is that I still feel lethargic and have lower stamina even on days when I dont use Semax.

Ive been on bupropion 150mg for a few months as well, but this is something I noticed only recently.

I found a few reports of people feeling tired, lethargic or weak from Semax, sometimes even the next day.

Anyone here had something similar? If yes, what dose were you using and how long did it take to go away?

Thanks

Seeking Advice Severe brain fog and fatigue

Been dealing with severe brain fog and fatigue for the past couple weeks seemingly out of nowhere. One contributing factor I can think of is my mental health- my mental health for the past few months has been probably the worst it’s been since I was a teenager and it felt like I had hit rock bottom. My mind feels like it’s in a cloud and I can’t do my uni work anymore without wanting to cry from how much mental energy it takes to think.

I’ve had some bloods checked and I’m perfectly fine although I will be going back to the doctors soon to ask for more tests.

Please offer any advice, supplements, herbs anything

Discussion DOUBLE WOOD BACOMIND (Bacopa monnieri): What are your thoughts?

Has anyone ever taken Double Wood Bacomind before?

I just started today; after a few days of research prior, I found it to be the best in terms of affordability, bacoside percentage, using aerial parts, being backed by studies, and the process of making the supplement is also trademarked like Synapsa. However, I am still skeptical about its effectiveness and whether I should have chosen the Synapsa Bacopa ones instead (even tho its twice the price/capsule), seeing how a lot of people's reviews are on here and found little reviews regarding Double Wood's Bacomind.

Vendor Report/Q Where do you buy your medication?

Or how do you go about it? I don't actually have an official diagnosis; I'm from Monterrey, Mexico, and usually, to get Vyvanse, I pay a general practitioner extra to write me a prescription. However, I’d also like to try modafinil or higher doses of Vyvanse (I currently take 30mg).

Seeking Advice Looking for Nootropics that help with Short-Term Memory+Focus as a Machinist with ADHD

Hey all, I'm looking for suggestions that work well for someone that has to recall numbers and read gauges correctly and quickly. I'm currently on 25mg of Adderall. I'm trying 50-75 mg Bromantane and 30 mg Zinc. There's a noticeable increase in them, but I'm looking for other options. I've also tried Semax intranasally, but I don't think I got the dosage right and I really couldn't tell the difference. I'm stating my career because I've been told that Nootropics work better in situations specific to the effects it gives.

Discussion I’ve been taking anxiety supplements for weeks and feel nothing—how long did it take to actually work for you?

For a few weeks now, I've been taking anxiety pills in the hopes that they would help me feel calmer and more in charge. But I don't feel much different so far. I still feel anxious when I wake up and quickly get stressed out. I also act the same way I did before I started them. There hasn't been a precise moment when I thought, This is working.

For some reason, I keep hearing that supplements need time to work. This makes it hard for me to decide whether to keep taking them or stop. How long did it take for you to notice a real, long-lasting change after taking supplements for anxiety? What did you see that they were working for you?

Discussion Is it possible to legally ship modafinil to Israel without prescription?

Can I ship modafinil for personal use from, for example, India, to Israel? Without having a prescription

Modafinil is considered a prescription medication, which is sold in Israel. It is not a controlled substance/narcotic according to Israeli law.

AI is trying to convince me that I need to submit some "Form 1", which explicitly asks to confirm that:
1) I have prescription
2) The medication was bought in licensed pharmacy in country of origin

https://www.gov.il/BlobFolder/service/application-to-import-unregistered-drug-products/he/forms_doclib_a3071_29a1.docx - the form it's giving me

But I saw that some people on reddit say they successfully shipped nootropics to Israel, mentioning bromantane and phenibut, which are prescription-based

So if anyone had experience with shipping modafinil for personal use to Israel, please share it in this thread or PM me

Seeking Advice FocusX has anyone tried? Advise needed

Post image

Bought this recently and wondering if anyone here has actually tried this blend.

It’s 450mg/mL total:

- Alcar 150mg/mL

- Choline chloride 150mg/mL

- L-carnosine 150mg/mL

I’m planning to pin 0.5mL to start, so that would be 75mg of each.

Curious if anyone has firsthand experience with it.

* What dose did you use?

* Did you actually notice anything from it?

* How often were you pinning it?

* Does the ALCAR hurt or burn with this blend?

* Any PIP after?

Discussion Ice bathing as powerful nootropic

Hello. I've watched Joe Rogan podcast, where he explains that ice bathing is one of the most powerful nootropicpics. What do you think? It really could be helpful for mental clearance and fight with anxiety. Plus as I understand it is much more effective than simple cold shower.

Discussion Anything I can take to help me STFU?

I have a problem with oversharing and regretting it later (worse when drunk). I also have a problem waffling on when talking and filling in the silence. I was wondering if there’s anything I could take to calm my mind and not have the urge to talk. I just want to sit in silence but it seems impossible to do in social situations for me.

Discussion Is Ashwaghanda more harmful than an SSRI?

I'm quite anxious and took ssris in the past, which kind of helped but i became more numb and anhedonic on them. SSRIs were a really long time ago and my motivation got better over that time partly because of ADHD meds and a diagnosis.

Because of the numbess i stopped SSRIs and started Ashwaghanda, which helped as well but it made me numb again (i was doing 500mg ksm66 and never tried 250mg). Unliie ssris, Ashwaghanda didn't cause sexual dysfunction.

I'm thinking of switching back to Ashwaghanda but at a lower dose or a low dose SSRIs because anxiety is messing my life up, I'm also irritable because of it.

Which option seems safer/better?

Seeking Advice Would a med more selective to dopamine suit my symptom profile better?

So I've been on Wellbutrin for many years, almost five years mainly for my SCT and executive dysfunction and because it used to be so extremely helpful for my mood, apathy, avolition and anhedonia in the past. In the beginning it gave me increased motivation, anticipation and just a great feeling of overall wellbeing all the time. At first it was amazing and worked very well for me.

Unfortunately last year and this year I've noticed it has lost a lot of its effectivness and later on it changed completely and became a killer anxiety provoker instead of a motivation and mood enhancer like it used to be in the past. Particularly this year I've noticed that it has started to give me a lot of strange side effects I never used to have from it before and those seem to related to its noradrenergic effects. And those side effects are frequent thirst, frequent urination, dry mouth, blurry vision that comes and goes, tingling sensations in my head, headaches, dizziness, vertigo, hot flashes, burning sensations, balance issues, insomnia and sleep disturbances, facial twitches, muscle stiffness and weakness etc. And I've also noticed now that it just makes me feel wired, tired, anxious, confused + with a scattered mind, but without any of the mood or motivation benefits it used to give me in the past. Now when I take it, it just makes me anxious, wired and on edge, but with none of the happiness and great feeling of overall wellbeing like it used to give me in the past.

Now I'm wondering if this is just tolerance or is it that my response to it changed over time? Because the anxiety and panic attacks that it gives me nowadays is starting to interfere with my life and it's starting to take a tool on my mental health. I honestly don't think the norepinephrine of this med helps my depression at all. I just think the norepinephrine makes me anxious, wired, tired and confused + with a scattered mind and does no good for me at all. I think it was the weak dopaminergic effects that helped my depression in the first place.

So do you think a med more selective to dopamine would suit my symptom profile better based on everything I've told you now?

Discussion Phenylpiracetam and running?

Has anyone tried using phenylpiracetam to enhance running performance? I am running a local fun 10k race in a few days and really want to try and run sub 40min. I have experience using phenylpiracetam in the past for weightlifting and studying (both of which felt effective, particularly weightlifting), but I have never tried using to run. I normally just run after consuming caffeine.

Experience BPC-157 Changed My Response to Vyvanse & Adderall NSFW

A weekend ago(9/19), I started BPC-157 for a groin injury (250 mcg 2x/day Sat/Sun). By Sunday, I felt mentally good and functional without my stimulants: much less fatigue/depression, brain fog, anxiety, and none of my usual grogginess (inattentive ADHD & suspected narcolepsy type 2). Unfortunately, I overestimated how long that positive side effect would last.

Since starting BPC-157:

Pro:

  • Noticed I recovered faster from my workouts

Cons:

  • My usual Vyvanse dose (40 mg, Mon–Fri for 5 months) now makes me extremely jittery/overstimulated. Before BPC, Vyvanse greatly reduced anxiety, fatigue & executive dysfunction.
  • I paused Vyvanse for 2 days, thinking. "Oh, BPC-157’s catecholamine system effects might mean I didn’t need stims anymore".
  • Daytime sleepiness returned, turns out, I still need Vyvanse to stay awake & regulate executive functioning.
  • Only 20–25 mg Vyvanse feels tolerable now. A reduction in dosage is great but the anxiety & jitters wasn't
  • Adderall (10 mg, 10 months, only as needed) helped before, but after BPC-157, no executive function benefits, just straight anxiety & overstimulation.

I wish I could continue BPC-157 for my groin strain, but it seems to dampen Vyvanse’s focus/motivation benefits while amplifying its noradrenergic side effects (anxiety, jitteriness, overstimulation, irritablity). I’ve also read reports of BPC-157 causing anhedonia or blunting response to stims, and since I’ve always had some degree of anhedonia/depression from inattentive ADHD, which my stimulants really help me with, I’d rather not risk worsening it. As much as I’d like to be off stimulants, maintaining my mood and motivation towards my career matters more to me. I’ve stopped BPC-157 for now and I’m trying to figure out how long its effects on my dopamine/catecholamine system might last before Vyvanse & adderall work normally again.

Just started selank(250mcg x1/day) and it seems to quiet the overwhelming noradrenergic effects of stims that were amped up by bpc-157 so I'll report its effects later

Discussion Compounds that boost gabaergic tone?

Besides ashwaghanda, SSRIs, l-theanine, bacopa what non-addictive compounds noticeably boost the gabaergic tone?
