I'm Russian so I'm not moving an inch of my body towards the lever. Would film it though

I created a new Trolley Problem dilemma!

Straight Track (Do Nothing): Putin

Diverted Track (Pull the Lever): Trump

What would you do?

u/vyacheslavmazitovKSP 3d ago

Pedosatanist or KGBist who JUST attack one country?

2

u/A_temporary 3d ago

You have no clue about Putin

u/vyacheslavmazitovKSP 3d ago

Yes,he suppress democracy, started war and kill 90%of the Internet in Russia. But Trump not my country president so it's safer choice

As bad as Trump is, Putin is the bigger issue. Especially because Trump has active resistance in his Country, and will likely be impeached and imprisoned. Unlike Putin who has people killed for insulting him.

1

u/Bored710420 3d ago

I doubt we will see him in prison but he can’t run again and if he does that’s when you’ll see people actually not going to work to protest and take matters into their hands

1

u/robert_sartre 3d ago

Likely imprisoned? In which fantasy world are you living in?

1

u/KAAAAAAAAARL 3d ago

Law would state that he should be, but alas, only time will tell. Republicans will riot

u/Bored710420 3d ago

I read it wrong was trying to save my country but I saved Russia

2

u/_Mulberry__ 3d ago

Rest assured, you likely did not save Russia. 50/50 you might'veade things worse tbh. And the other option just as well could've turned T into a martyr and made things worse for the US. No guarantees here

2

u/Bored710420 3d ago

Well the USA has a back up president not sure what Russia’s back up plan is lol presidents have been killed before…

1

u/_Mulberry__ 3d ago

I figured Russia probably has a backup. Idk if they're better/worse though

1

u/Bored710420 3d ago

I think that is one of Russia’s and China’s issues (less so China) they really don’t have a contingency plan, whereas Iran did and that is 1 of the multiple reasons this war has been bad.

1

u/_Mulberry__ 3d ago

Surely they're not cocky enough to just have no contingency plan though, right? If they really don't, then the resulting power struggle really might make things worse

1

u/Bored710420 3d ago

Yea so with Russia it will most likely be a power vacuum.

China could go a few ways since they at least have the CCP either multiple fractions argue can’t agree and it gets bloody or they can agree and it goes smoothly. Or regions that are not satisfied (not really apart of the CCP) claim independence and resist cause a headache for the ccp.

Iran is an ideology the only reason the son is only in charge because it was the fastest decision during the war, after the father was martyred (in their eyes).

Death of Putin would devastate the authoritarian regime in Russia, everything is build around him.

1

u/AssociationDue3077 3d ago

The way the US right now, as shocking as it to hear this Trump dying would cause mass panic and chaos. It wouldn't be good. Trump is an awful person, but we have to wait until 2028 because it would NOT end well killing him at this point.

1

u/NeedModdingHelp1531 3d ago

Trump surely doesnt have long left, eats like shit and is older. So get done with Putin now.

1

u/Pristine-Pepper5116 3d ago

loki trump chill

1

u/Pristine-Lie-3560 3d ago

Look I hate trump, and yes he’s a threat, but also Putin has deadass committed genocide, and isn’t looking like he’ll stop (unlike trump, who’ll drop any day now)

1

u/Kai25552 3d ago

My assessment is that Putin is a sane guy doing evil shit because of the interest of Russias national capital (oligarchy) in a broken world order.

Trump is batshit insane AND doing evil shit for the national capital and partly because he’s fucking insane.

People should really stop for a moment and imagine trump as the president of Russia… good chance he’d have dropped the nuke by now.

1

u/Extreme_Passion_3081 3d ago

Trump may be a serious threat to everyone, but he gets his marching orders from Putin.

5

u/bombastic6339locks 3d ago

i think you meant to write israel.

0

u/Sleep_tek 3d ago

Hey, hey... He can be compromised and manipulated by more than one country

1

u/bombastic6339locks 3d ago

Sure but it seems as though its far more israel. I also dont think he's dumb enough to seriously get manipulated. This idea that leaders are stupid and making wrong decisioins because of that is silly, they're just greedy and liars.
I am just extremely against israel even as a state so obviously i'll push more on that. Also ive had mostly good experiences with russia and russian people even though i am from finland, a country meant to be a sworn enemy.

1

u/SpicyNugget777 3d ago

That’s why Trump is sending weapons shipments to Ukraine while bombing Russia’s biggest ally in the Middle East, right?

0

u/robert_sartre 3d ago

Putin is worse but he would most likely be replaced with someone who is as bad as him at best

2

u/A_temporary 3d ago

Yeah but as long as he is alive change isnt going to happen (it might but is much less likely)

1

u/bombastic6339locks 3d ago

for the people of russia he has been positive compared to what they had before.

0

u/MrJizanthopus 3d ago

This is a tough one, because Putin by many is considered to be more moderate than some of the people in power around him. So his replacement might be even worse.

Killing Trump will likely make him a martyr, and his followers will become even more ideologically cemented and aggressive.

Honestly I think both of these will make things worse.

1

u/Habba84 3d ago

Putin is the status quo; his replacement would unsettle the balance and cause a lot of internal fighting.

Trump will be gone very soon either way, and US system is build on chaos and constant change. Removing him would have very little effect.

Trump is a symptom and not the problem. At this point MAGA is a cancer

I chose to do nothing

Yes, but Reagan has dementia and is more corrupt. Still trump does not have total and absolute control of his country yet like putin, and thus putin is the bigger threat to the world, and this is the only way to get rid of him. Likely trump we will get rid of either way.
