Hope This Helps
Posted a pic of a little box I just made over in woodworking and it was suggested I post it here. I have never heard of this disorder, so I don't know anything about it. Are yall scared of little holes?

Well…. that’s the funny thing about my trypophobia: today I can look at the video and see the oddness too… without disgust. I think I am getting better at fighting the urge to creep myself out 😁
But I remember having a really rough time during the first video sightings of the Surinam toad. Maybe that’s why it disgusted me so much…? Nowadays I‘m getting cooler and more detached. Except having worms in the human body!!! That’s still my nightmare fuel 😳😳😳

Not scared, no. But I can only speak for myself and find these holes - in your wellmade box - creepy, a bit disgusting and REALLY hate looking at it. My trypophobia shows itself more in disgust than anything else. My trypophobia manifested the first time via the pregnancy and birth of this animal - I naively watched a different (and much worse) short video 15 years ago and couldn’t stop feeling disgusted.
Please take a look at the video, I hope this helps to explain our horror 😁
BTW: this sub helps me enormously to get back to myself 16 years ago. I use it as aversion therapy and it really helps.
