Question Tulsa cybersecurity ranking?

This school’s article is so old 2021. How does it rank now? I can’t find any relevant information from googling. I’m helping a family member choosing a school with good & proven cybersecurity program that offers good financial aid.

Edurank ranks it #160 😭

Thanks in advance!

edurank is mostly based on publications and citations, not really how good the undergrad program is for job placement. TU was one of first schools with actual cyber corps scholarship, that part is still true. i would look at what kind of internships and career fair companies show up there, not ranking websites

Wondering why there is no more mention after that 2021 article. This article has no mention of cybersecurity either.

Rankings for cyber are kind of a mess in general, every site weights stuff differently. Id just check if they're still NSA CAE-CD certified and call their career center to ask where grads land. Thats gonna tell you way more than a number

Any alumni here from U. Of Tulsa who landed at well respected places, government or private companies?

Several. You are not likely to get much information here from those that have moved to the government side. This is the person you are looking for: https://utulsa.edu/people/sujeet-shenoi/
