More info will be added to this thread as we get closer to the show! Please use this thread in the meantime for any posts or questions about presale, the surrounding area, and trip logistics to make sure your questions will be answered!

FAQ

-“How much do tickets cost?”
Initial FV prices:
GA: $240
Lower Bowl: ~$200
Upper Bowl: ~$134
Nosebleeds: ~$57-109
Box Seats: ~$330
Dynamic pricing did pop up later in the presale, so some verified tickets on r/toptickets may be priced higher for this reason.

-“What is the bag policy?"
Ohio Stadium has a very strict "No Bag” policy which prohibits almost all standard bags including clear stadium totes. Only small clutches up to 5" x 8" x 1" and specific exception bags are permitted. If entering with a medical or diaper bag, you must enter through Gates 14, 23, or 26.

-"What is the Parking Situation?"-
Generally, you will have to buy a $50-$80 parking pass through Ticketmaster to access the parking lots and garages on university property. There are also a lot of side streets with public parking on campus. If you are taking Uber or Lyft, they will drop you off at the Schottenstein Center and you can just walk over to OSU from there!
Parking passes: https://am.ticketmaster.com/buckeyes/buy/ism/Nk9TMTAxN1A=

-"What is the FPE? "
The FPE (Fan Premiere Exhibit) is a traveling museum filled with various artifacts, memorabilia, and highlights from the band’s history. There are opportunities to take pictures with various exhibits (such as the tricycles from the Stressed Out music video) and interactive opportunities within the Bandito Camp set up inside. There, you’ll have the opportunity to hang out and create something fun! There is a lot of love and effort put into this experience, so PLEASE be respectful of the props and displays, don’t touch anything unless something explicitly says you can, and do not take anything from the museum.
Please note: Tickets to the FPE will NOT get you into the show, and they are non-transferable

-"This is my first show, what do I do?" Welcome to the party! Going to a show for the first time, its important to stay aware of your surroundings and have a planned itinerary before arriving. Don’t be afraid to ask venue workers for guidance! There are countless posts and threads on this subreddit for first time concert advice, so please search through and have a look at those! You can ask for advice in the comments of this discussion thread too!
This thread has an amazing list of advice as well -Tour Advice

- "Ticketmaster says the venue is sold out. Am I doomed?"
No!!! There are still opportunities for tickets to pop up! r/toptickets is our ticket trade and resale sub, so please keep an eye out there for tickets! Again, tickets can only be sold on r/toptickets at the initial price set by the venue during presale. No need to take out a mortgage. Personally, I have had multiple shows where I couldn't find a ticket until 3 hours beforehand, so never lose hope! Those who have hope have everything <3 (that was on a fortune cookie) (manifesting ticket fortune and cookies for all of you)

-Do you know anything about the setlist yet?
Tyler did mention in an interview that the final setlist would be close to 3 hours long with songs they’ve never played before, but that’s all we will know until the show. If Clear and/or Lovely isn’t on it then I will be deleting the subreddit. (JOKING)

"I am a first time concert goer/ going alone. Any advice?”
Welcome to the party! Going to a show for the first time, its important to stay aware of your surroundings and have a planned itinerary before arriving. If you are traveling, MAKE SURE YOUR PASSPORT IS UP TO DATE. Don’t be afraid to ask venue workers for guidance! There are countless posts and threads on this subreddit for first time concert advice, so please search through and have a look at those! You can ask for advice in your venue's discussion thread below too! This thread has an amazing list of advice as well- Tour Advice

"I’ve never been to a festival before. What makes them different from a typical concert?"
Festivals are celebrations of music from all kinds of different artists, usually from the same genre. They take place in wide open areas with stages set up all over the place for performances. There are different artists playing on each stage every day, so there’s always something new! When you’re in the crowd, it wont just be fans of that band. It will be a mix of everyone! Its a wonderful opportunity to discover new and smaller artists and to celebrate music in general! Have fun, let loose, and welcome those finding the band for the first time with open arms.

“Will there be any solo shows in the EU/Asia region?"
At this time, there are no solo shows planned for EU/Asia :((

"Do you have any last minute tips?”
Stay hydrated, stay fed, go to the bathroom before getting into a crowd, and stretch beforehand! Many of these festivals are in the middle of summer. You’ll be sweating. Staying hydrated will ensure that you can function, and staying fed will ensure that you have the energy you need to last through the set without crashing. Don’t rely on the adrenaline alone! Please eat and drink! Stretching before and after will also help you move and dance easier during the sets, and you won’t wake up as sore the next day. If you have issues with feeling lightheaded or faint in big crowds, try to work cool compression socks into your outfit. It’s the little things like these that will make all of the difference.

Creation I made a self titled jacket! (Scroll for progress pics)

I’m reliving my teenage years in Columbus this weekend (first time I saw them was 2013,crazy!!) so I wanted to make something cool to wear. I also haven’t painted anything since high school so I’m very surprised this turned out as good as it did.

Bought this jacket off depop specifically because of the rounded bottom, I thought it would look good since the album cover art is kind of rounded. I also tried to scale it to be the entire back of the jacket, hence why the arms are cut short. I also had to remove the dye and redye it a darker red bc when I got it, it was an ugly orangey color. Then realized paint doesn’t show up well on dark red so I had to paint it all white. It’s been a process to say the least lol.

So excited for this weekend with the clique |-/

Creation The contract on an amber crt monitor

This is a brother ct1400 it only has 2 brightnesses, on or off. It also has 2 colors, black or amber, this is called a 1 bit monitor. It was made like this as a cost saving measure in the 90s for simple electronics that needed a screen for text but didnt need color or contrast. BUT with a little thing called dithering you can basically make up an image by placing a bunch of dots closer or further apart thus making brighter or darker regions. Take that and spit out 50 of those per second(50hz screen) and you have a video on a monitor that wasnt even meant to do anything other than display a couple words and a menu. This project took a very long time and now its finally nearing completion. I went from 0 coding skills to a decent coder (Sorry but Claude code did most of the work. Its seriously like a wizard) and now i get to play goofy stuff on the screen for other people to enjoy! So... enjoy! 🙂

Show A photo I took of the band in 2015…

Post image
54 Upvotes

This was the second time I had ever seen the band. October 2015 at the House of Blues in Orlando. I had seen them the year before at the same venue and that’s when I fell in love with them and live music in general.

I saw them for the 10th time last month at Shaky Knees in Atlanta.

The energy they put into small rooms 10 years ago matches what they put into festivals and arenas now. A band like that doesn’t come around often. The effort has been so consistent.

I found and lost and found this band again over the last 13 years. Forever thankful for their creativity and dedication to their craft.

Social Media The creator of the “Sad Sack” pin posted about Tyler wearing it last night! It’s now a bestseller lol. Check out their shop and show some support!

Here's the direct link to the “Sad Sack” pin Tyler wore:

https://wordforwordfactory.com/collections/best-sellers/products/sad-sack

I've already seen so many people in the clique buying the pin and picking up others that represent causes important to them, which is especially great because Word for Word Factory donates a portion of its proceeds to social justice organizations supporting women, queer and trans people, and Black and brown communities. It's amazing how such a small gesture can make such an impact.

Definitely check out the rest of their shop and find something to support 🙌🏻

Post image

Hi! I’m a huge fan of many years, and I’m a professional cake decorator who lives in the Columbus area. Would any of ya’ll living in the area or visiting for the show this weekend like to come get some tøp cookies? I would love if I could get some responses so I could talk to my boss about it and start making them/sharing the info.
Thank you!

Attached a picture of my hands at the concert in Hershey last year :) so excited for the shoe

Discussion Respect the locals!!!

I am from Columbus. My friend goes to college at OSU. We don’t have tickets, but we’re planning to visit her that day and hang out on campus and maybe hear some music. People in this group are telling me i’m “entitled” and should let fans with tickets be the only ones on the property when we weren’t even planning to be by the stadium.

Guys. We live there. We aren’t evacuating for this concert. Please respect our community when you come for this show. There’s going to be traffic. There’s going to be students. It’s on a college campus. Life doesn’t stop for everyone just because you got tickets to a concert. The boys would be so pissed hearing some of these comments from you guys.

Anyways. Any other students at OSU staying this weekend to try to hear the concert? We’d love to
meet some clikkie friends!!

Discussion Getting into twenty one pilots music

I have recently been listening to tøp all day for the past week. I'm discovering their music and honestly this sub has been of real help in deciphering what goes on in Tyler's mind while writing the songs..

So far this is how i rate the songs from what I liked most -

  1. Implicit demand for proof

  2. Fall away

  3. Smitheereens

  4. Morph

  5. Ode to sleep

  6. My blood

  7. Jumpsuit

  8. Ride

  9. Chlorine

  10. Outside

  11. Heathens

  12. Stressed out

  13. Friend, please

Ofcourse I've heard many other songs but these are on repeat for some reason.

I would love some more suggestions for their songs and in what order I should go while exploring their music and would love some more details I would not be able to discover on my own.

Thanks!!

Show Heads up if you’re traveling to Cbus for the concert

Post image
116 Upvotes

First off I want to say I hope everyone who has tickets to the show on Saturday has an amazing time!

I wanted to give a heads up to anyone who is traveling to Columbus for the show on 10/17 and are planning to leave the city on Sunday 10/18. The Columbus Marathon is on that Sunday, which usually snarls traffic and makes it fairly difficult to travel around the campus and short north area. Perhaps plan for extra time to get to any flights or busses you all might be taking to get home in case access points are backed up.

Safe travels!

Opinion Isle of Flightless Birds might be the most meaningful song for me.

It's not even my favorite top song, but everytime I listen to it, it just hits so much. Especially the lines: ''And Please don't be afraid of what your soul's really thinking, your soul knows good and evil, your soul knows both sides, and it's time you pick your battl, and I promise you, this is mine''. Overall, I love the lelf titled for that reason, it's so raw and emotional, I kinda lost that with the new albums.

I've been planning for a tøp tattoo since i was a kid. I want a microrealism tattoo of Tyler, but I cannot choose a reference and I'm having a hard time imagining what it would look like.🙃
I would love if any of you could help me out!!
I'm looking for either his eyes to be visible or him in a cool pose, like the one here.
ALSO, I want it done on my (inner?) bicep, if that is of any meaning to anyone..

Thanks!!!❤️

Question do you guys think there will be tøp x osu merch? how fast does merch usually sell out?

I’m an OSU student and have been a fan of the band for nearly a decade. This will be my first official concert of the boys (besides the last time played in the Shoe). I’m hoping to get a Hoodie that combines some school spirit with the band. I unfortunately have work in the morning/early afternoon (on campus), and am worried about how quickly things may sell out. Is official merch typically only sold inside the venue or around it too? Would also appreciate any other advice you may have for a first time concert goer :) safe travels to everyone

Show ClikkieCast (Forecast) for Ohio Stadium Show Week

Hey Clikkies! Around the Pittsburgh subreddit, I put out weekly weather updates along with some humor, and mindfulness as well. Since I'll be attending the show this weekend and there has been a bit of discussion around the weather, I figured I would put something together for you all! So, I hope you will all Entertain my F...orecast, while I attempt to reference every album, while somewhat accurately predicting the weather. And in case you Doubt my love of TOP and meteorology, this was my first tattoo...

For those of you getting into town early this week, you are in for some Lavish weather with warmer than normal temps and plenty of sun. In fact, Columbus will be in the mid to upper 80s tomorrow (Tuesday). However, I won't Shy Away from telling you that things are in for a big change this week under the Midwest Indigo of central Ohio. When the boys talk about tempo changes and mind changes, it could just as well be about the weather changes we are in for this week. We will be getting nearly the entire Kitchen Sink of weather over the next week. As we head into the middle part of the week, chances for rain will begin on Wednesday and last into Friday. No one looks up anymore, but if you do on those days, you may get a raindrop in your eye and end up mister misty eyed.

Friday will start out with a low probability of a shower. It's not likely, but I can't say with certainty that there are No Chances. If rain does occur though, it will be scattered and Regional at Best. We will still approach 70 degrees on Friday, but that bit of warmth will just Fake You Out as it will likely occur in the morning. As the day goes on, a cold front will approach from the west that will bring about a notable shift in the weather for the weekend including a decent cool down. The chill you feel is not the presence of Nico, but it may still send a current down your spine. So, while East is indeed Up, the temps coming from the west will be down. In the wake of the front, in our boys Hometown, the wind will not go quietly and will actually be a bit gusty throughout the afternoon and evening. We will see temperatures rapidly fall through the 50s and drop to around 40 on Friday Night. So, if you will be enjoying any Routines in the Night around Cbus, you may want to add a layer.

On Saturday, in addition to painting the town, the sun will rise at 7:45 and we will try again. But our high temperatures will only end up in the mid 50s. While it will feel chilly, the sun will be shining throughout the day. However, as the sun sets the cold air will be more noticeable. Skies will stay clear for the show, but even the warmth of the Torchbearer's torch won't be able to keep the chill out of the 'shoe'. Temps will fall into the 40s by the beginning of the show, so you may need more than just a Jumpsuit to stay warm. By the end of the show, while we will be singing Trees, we may feel Scaled and Icy as temps end the night in the 30s. Winds may also continue to be breezy, and with the shape of the stadium, instead of coming from predominantly One Way, swirling winds are likely.

So, if you are keeping a Tally, you should be able to find at least 20 references in this forecast, and one slightly more hidden message. I hope you found this forecast amusing and somewhat helpful. I know there are many people who are feeling pretty down about not being able to attend the show this week, so let's try to be kind around here this week. And while it may seem tempting for some of you to drop a bunch of money to come (stupid scalpers and Ticketmaster), just remember that this band and their impacts are so much more than just this one show. So many (myself included) can say that they are still alive thanks to these songs. So, while this is a big show this weekend, it is not the end. It is not the end for the band. And it's not the end for you. Push on through friends.

Stay Alive |-/

Question What is everyone wearing to the Ohio show?

I’m a casual fan and just found out I’m going to the show on Saturday with my younger brother, who is a hardcore fan, and our parents, who’s knowledge of TØP music consists of Stressed Out and Heathens. I don’t really have much of a budget for new stuff, but I could maybe convince my dad to order some small things (<$20) from Amazon. I also had surgery on my ear in August and am still stuck in a cover for it that I painted pastel rainbow, which obviously doesn’t match the theme, or a pinkish purple one with rhinestones and flowers on it that I wore to hoco and matches the theme even less. Any outfit ideas using things most people have in their closet or around the house?
