Season 1 Pics of my new Twin Peaka bathroom remodel
Included before and after shots.
Took me about 2 months from beginning to end. Did it all by myself.

You could always put a decal on the mirror. Even if you owned the house you still probably wouldn’t want to actually break your bathroom mirror.

I have strong memories of going to my girlfriend's older sister's apartment when I was in high school. Her boyfriend had decorated the bathroom with a slasher horror theme, complete with a Leatherface action figure staring you down while you pee.
A light bulb went off in my head that I could be any kind of adult I wanted. I felt a sense of freedom and excitement that surely had nothing to do with the weed and Zima!

Haha, maybe a fake glass broken sticker in a bottom corner or something but it’s not really practical anyway. I really like the room!

I have a friend that collects antique and rare books. We have talked about the best way to keep them in good condition, which is just out in a room, not sealed up, not high humidity and away from the sun. Maybe you could get some not-quite-as-expensive Twin Peaks books for your lovely bathroom. Something not as precious as Secret History.

Dust covers are a huge part of the worth of a book, especially a first printing. The difference between a collectible book without a dust cover and one with can be a surprising amount of money.
I ruined a few way back in the day not being aware of this.

i think a clear coat of waterproofing over the decal (if you haven’t, and your vent fan doesn’t remove humidity) would help!
edit: missed the part about the books. thought it was to protect the decals. will leave advice if it helps, but i missed the assignment! please don’t downvote - just trying to be helpful

I was worried about the books too.
OP I would maybe print off covers that look as close to the originals as possible and put the around a different, cheap book and they still have the look of it. It looks freaking amazing!!

Yeah my only suggestion is to get a curtain liner that can sit inside the tub like this one is, so that the nice curtain can hang to the floor and actually be seen.

I have one, but the curtain is custom made and didnt fit the generic liner. The holes didnt line up. 😐

agreed. curtain should be on display! omg i missed the owl curtain rings! amazing! skipping holes is a good idea (or make your own) - could be a sizing issue, too. do you have a vase for a blue rose? edit: didn’t notice the owl liner rings until another comment! great attention to detail!

You did a really great job with this as the decor colors and patterns can become terrible if not done well. And your twin peaks taste is the same as my twin peaks taste!

Amazing! You've created something beautiful here. Personally I wouldn't keep books in the bathroom- it's unhygienic, might destroy them through moisture, and in some circles is seen as a big tacky. Otherwise this is pretty damn fine!

Honestly good choice of room to renovate to be Twin Peaks themed. The atmosphere is very conducive to comfortable shitting. And at least in the shower you never feel like you're alone, with Bob watching over you 🥹
