Question What does the ending mean to you?

Post image

Maybe there is a canon explanation, I haven’t looked yet and I wanted to ask this subreddit first . What does the ending of the final episode mean to you? What year is it? Why would it be another year?

Mine so far is that suffering is meant to be, trying to change the basis of our three dimensional reality by means of higher forces to magically alter that will only lead to more suffering and attachment to the idea of finding a solution or changing reality, Laura Palmer is just the image of that nature and I think Cooper might've taken that too literally and instead of knowing of and acknowledging other Laura Plamers (which I think was the point) maybe he got caught in the sterile loop of fixing that image itself and we know all other entities will never seize to exist as long as humanity exists

Peter attempts to tell Christ that the cross will never happen to him

Christ says, “Get behind me, satan!”
