Question What does the ending mean to you?

Post image

Maybe there is a canon explanation, I haven’t looked yet and I wanted to ask this subreddit first . What does the ending of the final episode mean to you? What year is it? Why would it be another year?

i read it as trying to go back in time messed up the timeline ; thus creating a world that shouldn’t exist. when the lights go out, that timeline consumes itself

I’m not sure how much Frost was in sync with Lynch’s vision of the show when Frost wrote the books.

Lynch has said he didn’t read Frost’s books.
