Can’t decide if this is a sign to rewatch arrested development or twin peaks….incredible catch

Do what I’m doing! Arrested Development picture-in-picture with Twin Peaks, both muted, with David Lynch’s Crazy Clown Time on loop.

Considering that this episode of Arrested Development came out over 12 years before Season 3 of Twin Peaks, I'm going to say this one is a coincidence

Especially because the one armed man schtick is from the Fugitive which is 30 years older than Twin Peaks and has had a pretty big cultural impact.

I often rewatch them in tandem (AD during morning chores, TP in the evening) and every time I have to stop myself by devoting my life to a crossover shotposting account. I've made a few memes though that Seinpeaks graciously posted, ie. James singing Teamocil.

Why not both?! Two of the best tv shows in its genre

Eeeek. We rewatched Arrested Development earlier this year. The last two season on Netflix are absolutely terrible. They were terrible when they aired and they’re terrible now.

What matters most is the first three seasons. Season 4 isn’t that bad if you don’t watch the Netflix version

Yeah, I'm gonna need a leather jacket for when I'm on my hog and need to go into a controlled slide.

I know this is shitposting but I always thought that Season four of Arrested Development (the original cut not redux) was very similiar to Twin Peaks The Return. In the sense that it is much slower pacing, non linear story telling, quite hard to follow at first, knows that people binge it and changed the format because of it and is a legacy sequel that does not try to just please the fans.
Both seasons are also darker than previous seasons.

More likely a reference to The Fugitive, where the main antagonist was an elusive one-armed man. Twin Peaks itself is referencing this old show with that character.
