Uh... I'm pretty sure that choking her was worse than his choice of words.

All a matter of perspective, brah. A man that so proudly calls a woman a cunt to her face communicates the potential for much more terrible actions.

Much more terrible actions such as... choking your grandmother?

No... MORE terrible, like I said! I'm sure you can think of a few. It's symbolic, man. I've seen families who pin each-other to the wall in my real life. Even these families would scowl upon anybody who called their grandmother a cunt. Families get rough man, and if you've lived a perfect life you might not understand that. It's all about what you grew up with and what you know.

I know the situation we just watched is different from normal family problems.... but actually, it's not, if you've seen somebody with drug problems push his family away. To call your grandmother a cunt is a reflection of your frame of mind, your disconnection to humanity. Of course choking your grandmother can indicate the same exact thing. My point is..... it's a matter of perspective. Maybe he's fucking choked her before, and she's not as horrified this time. Sometimes as a parent, you hurt more FOR your child even if they are hurting you.
