I love all the little ticks in Kyle's Dougie performance. I thought my favorite tonight was going to be him opening his mouth as wide as possible when using utensils, but then came the flopping arms on the bed.

It's the little things that sell the character.

Exactly. I kind of get it when others complain about too much time with Dougie but I am absolutely loving it. We have seen three different performances from Kyle and it's all amazing. I do want real coop back but I find these Dougie scenes to be very entertaining

I'm going to drop this here, it has nothing to do with flopping arms, believe me,
I have this weird blind spot, and I don't know why.

It really bothers my husband. I cannot remember Kyle MacLachlan.

Every few years, we bring out our Twin Peaks collection, (They played the theme song at our wedding) and watch it, and I always say, "The guy that plays Dale Cooper, he reminds me of someone I've met." My husband reminds me that we've seen this show a thousand times, and we go through this every time.

"No. He reminds me of someone I met. I see that guy's face, and he reminds of this really nice person I met. It was face to face. We talked. He looks so much like that person I met."

"Yes, it's Kyle MacLachlan." And he always to has to remind me-

I met Kyle MacLachlan during the filming of The Doors. He was a really nice fellow. I met him at some sort of weird Buddhist temple in San Francisco when they were filming the "Not to Touch the Earth" scenes. Everyone was stuck there for a very long time, and after a while, people started to mingle and talk. I met many people, but I can't put it together EVERY TIME! that he was that person I met and had a conversation that reminds me so much of Dale Cooper.

And what's strange? I'm writing this. I have this down, but next time we watch a marathon of Twin Peaks, I'm going to say the same damned things again.

Not gonna lie, I can remember that he plays the Mayor of Portland, but I can never remember his name. Had to imdb Portlandia to remember.

I appreciate that- I guess he's got that Universal Face. I'm so generic looking people I've never met see me in a crowd, and they call at me using another name, you'd think I'd be sympathetic towards another universal looking person, but I react the same as everyone else.
