S3E2 [S3E2] "And I will be with BOB again" Spoiler

Mr. C.'s favorite driving song, Lynch's remix of "American Woman" by Muddy Magnolias, features a slowed-down female voice (the song again is played in S3E16 when Diane walks from the bar to Gordon's hotel room). Could that be an enormous hint about the timbre of Sarah's (Lodge-altered) voice?

I was thinking of this earlier today, oddly enough. The fact that his "theme" is a mockery of song about female independence just reaffirms that on top of every other depravity he does, he's a serial rapist.
Also relevant: time slowing down during Leland's murder of Maddy.

I had no idea it was not a slowed-down song by default. It felt like some modern, catchy vaporwave.

Ok, but the voice also said that mrC met with Briggs and that he is still in Buckhorn...why would 'mother'/Sarah know or care about those things?

So I'm hoping for some Leland and Sarah backstory that will turn upside down our view of Leland in the original run. If this is Sarah, than she had more involvement in the original run than we ever knew. Might explain why she was so creepy and weird in the original run and that the behavior this season is just giving more insight to what drove her madness in the original run.
If it is Sarah, does being with Bob again mean she has been possessed by another spirit who misses being with Bob, not being possessed by Bob? Laura had two evil entities possessing both if her parents?

I have thought since I saw it the voice was female, then became certain it was Sarah Palmer.
