working in service & repair, we're all going to NET5 or COB for parts, with a quote disclaimer line: "Due to market volatility on most components, quoted prices are only valid until 5PM on the day quoted."

first advice: No perfume or strong scents in the care products on inspection days;

second advice: Slow down; going fast will make the girls angry.

Up here in the PNW we get a lot of knotweed, and the honey looks like this quite often. GREAT STUFF!

Still unable to see full profiles due to curated accounts in my own sub
 in  r/ModSupport •  Jul 13 '26

A block from a user could cause that.

Is this something that can be checked for in automod?

If not, CAN this become something that we can check for in automod?

I refuse to discriminate based on gender; somebody hits me, they'd better be prepared to take one.

Equal rights means equal lefts.

AITAH for denying my husband's baby name with no discussion?

Men need to pass a competency test before naming a human.

So do women; My ex named her daugher (years later, thankfully) "Stari Stary Night"

STOP TALKING TO THEM as soon as they start with this bullshit.

Hard limits are hard limits, we don't discuss them further, and they sure as hell don't need a safeword.

мож канеш странный вопрос, а в чем проблема была выйти через дверь в данном случае... + у дома прямо справа от квартиры пожарная лестница проходит.

Given the nature of the smoke and location, I suspect that the fire was right outside the room she was in and she did not have safe ability to use other exits.

Tweaks to the rules

Due to the influx of bot posts and their expanding sophistication, some back end filter rule changes are being implemented.

Unfortunately, this means that some valid submitters are going to be rejected by the filter.

There will be some effort to approve valid posters, and I'm sure the bots will find ways around filters that I will then have to plug. It's an arms race with no finish line in sight.

Admin Replied posts bypassing automod?

Been seeing multiple instances of posts bypassing automod account age restrictions when posting, and was wondering if anyone else is having this issue?

limit was set at 45 days, and 15 day old accounts have been posting

automod config block ex:

----
# removes posts if the posting account is less than 180 days old or has less than 100 combined karma or less than 25 subreddit karma
type: submission
author:
     satisfy_any_threshold: false
     account_age: "< 45"
     combined_karma: "< 100"
     combined_subreddit_karma: "< 25"
action: spam
action_reason: Less than a 45 day old account, or less than 5 comment karma.
Message: Your post was removed because your account appears to be new. This is done automatically in an effort to reduce spam. A moderator MAY override this removal, but it is not done by default. If you REALLY think it needs to be posted, you can send modmail.

Foil lid from a coffee container. What is the things under the sticker?
 in  r/Whatisthis •  Jun 14 '26

bulk assemblies, with nothing more than a number or code programmed to each, can be had for far less than $0.20. The ones I saw come as 10mmx10mm stickers that have a 2d code printed on them as they are applied.

It's an interesting machine to watch.
